Here's another poem for you.
x--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------x
I'm so lost I dont even know it.
I'm so broken, I can't feel a thing.
What am I fighting for,
And how long have I been?
Because now it seems
To be for nothing.
I don't want to keep fighting.
I've lost hope in you,
In us.
I've been fighting for you
For so long,
And yet now you throw
Me away
And go to another girl,
One who can be there for you.
And it's not my fault
That you can't wait,
And it won't be my fault
When again you break,
Because I tried to warn you
Of those dangerous things,
And I tried to keep you
Safe.
But I cannot keep you
Locked up forever.
You must be free.
And if you happen
To come back to me
Then I'll call it fate.
And if you stay with her
I'll have no reason to be.
Because my heart laid with you
Until you tore it again,
And I can't feel the sadness,
The betrayal.
I can't feel the pain anymore.
There is nothing but tears
That I don't know where
They are coming from.
Why can't you see
You hurt me?
Why can't I see
You hurt me?
Why am I still fighting for you,
When you would rather
Go for her?
Why am I still fighting for something
That will never be?
Is there no way
You could want me?
Is there no way
You could just want me?
No one else
Crosses your mind.
And as you touch her
I want you to remember me,
Remember the sorrow you gave me.
Don't forget all you've done to me,
Because you've broken me
So many times,
I can't count,
I have too many scars from you.
Why did I think
This would work?
I knew you'd slip up
And I'd be a gonner,
And here we are,
You and I.
Your regret,
And my pain that
Is so strong it's fake.
And yet you stand by your choice.
For what?
My broken body is shaking
Because my worst fear has come true.
Because now you're gone
As if you were dead.x--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------x
