Chapter 19

Isabelle and Jackalen were training with each other.
" Isabelle do you have a parabatai?" Jackalen asked.
" No I don't what about you?" Isabelle asked.
" No you should know I haven't been around anyone for a while."
" We should be parabatai's!" Izzy said.
" We should."
" We can have the ceremony a week from today."
" Yeah."
" So we get to go shopping today." Izzy yelled.

At the mall
We went to forever 21. We stayed there for 5 hours. Until Izzy found the perfect dresses.
" Come on Jacky lets try on the dresses."
" Ok"
When I got the dress on I saw that it was strapless. And it was blood red and black. It looked amazing with my new highlights. I left the changing room to show Izzy. I saw that she was in a red dress that had a little black. But she looked beautiful in it.
" You look beautiful in that dress" I say and Izzy smiles
" You look beautiful too." Isabelle says. Then we left.

Skip to the day of ceremony

" Jackalen get up we need to start getting ready." Izzy yells as she bangs on my door.
" I'm up." I yell
" Ok grab your stuff and come in my room"
" Kk." I say and grab my stuff then go to her room.

" Go take a shower. " Izzy demands.
" You know the ceremony doesn't start to 8:00 pm. And it's only 6:00 am." I say as I put my dress, makeup, and shoes on her bed.
" I don't care what time it is it is never to early to get ready." She says.

After shower.
After my shower I walk out of the bathroom in a towel.
" It took you an hour to get ready." Isabelle says. As I start to blow dry my hair.
Izzy sat down and did her makeup. After I blow dried my hair. I started curling it.
After Izzy was done with her makeup and when I was done with my hair it was 9:00.
" Izzy let me do your hair and you can do my makeup. Then lets go eat." I say.
" Fine. Go get my extra bathrobe on." Isabelle says as she puts her bathrobe on.
After I got the bathrobe on I had Isabelle sit down.
" What do you want me to do with this." I say as I grab her hair.
" Do loose curls and have my hair parted to the left." Isabelle said.
I parted Isabelle's hair and started curling her hair. Once I was finished with her hair it was 9:30.
" Go sit I have 30 minutes to make you look beautiful." Isabelle says.
" Ok Izzy calm down." I say as I sit down."
" What colors."
" Blood red and black"
" So your hair and soul." Isabelle says playfully.
" Yes."
Once she.was done with my makeup she let me look in the mirror.
" Izzy this is perfect now let's go eat." I say.
" Ok to the kitchen." Isabelle yells as she opens her door.
When we walk out I feel arms go around my waist.
" I haven't seen you all day." Jace whispers in my ear. I turn and face him.
" Well Izzy woke me up at 6 and made me start to get ready." I say.
" What are you doing right now."
" Going to eat."
" You two are going to go out in public and eat in bathrobes."
" We can cook or you can get us Taki's." I say looking up at him with big eyes.
" I will be back in 20 minutes." He huffs and leaves.
I go to the kitchen and see Izzy on her phone.
" Where were you." Isabelle ask.
" Asking Jace to buy us Taki's." I say.
" Is he."
" Yup."
" So what do we do for now." I ask.
" Talk."
" So are Simon and Clary a thing."
" No Simon and I are and him and her are best friends. "
" Oh sorry."
" It's fine. So what about you and Jace." Isabelle said as she wiggled her eyebrows.
" I don't really know. I mean I've been with you guys for 6 months. So Jace and me have been dating for 5 months."
" I'm back." Jace yelled.
" We're in the kitchen" Isabelle yells. Then Jace walks in.
" For my sister who doesn't know how to cook." Jace says as he puts a box in front of Isabelle.
" Shut up Jace." Isabelle says.
" And for the love of my life. " Jace says as he puts a box in front of me.
" Thank God for you." I say
" Why thank God." Isabelle and Jace say.
" Because you bring us free food." I say.
" I thought you were thanking Him because how beautiful this is." He says as he falls on the floor playfully.
" Jace we all know these are beautiful" I say as I point at Isabelle and myself.
" Yeah your wrong one of you is beautiful but that one isn't." Jace says as he points at Isabelle.
" I'm done eating so let's finish getting ready because it's twelve and we need to leave at four to get to Bone City on time." Isabelle says.
" Ok lets get change and get our steles ready." I say. We stand up and start to walk out of the kitchen.
" Bye see you later love you." Jace yells.
" Why are you saying bye if we're in the same house, but I love you too." I say. Then me and Isabelle went back to her room.
