I awoke from a dream feeling alive again. Just the thought of him being back filled me with excitement and adrenaline; will he be the same person? And that he is supposedly looking for me! The emotions I had been building up for this moment hit me all at once. I didn't know whether to cry, or laugh or smile or scream or cry or laugh. There were too many at once to focus on just one emotion.

A sudden ringing sound caught my attention, and I quickly answered the call coming through on my Xtransciever.

"Hi, Cheren! What's up?" I smiled brightly as my best friend's face filled the screen.

"Hello, Hilda. You know, same old stuff. I'm just calling to let you know that there's a bit of a celebration going on tonight." Cheren pushed his small glasses back onto the bridge of his nose as he spoke, an old habit of his that clearly he still hasn't got out of. I giggled to myself in amusement.

"A celebration? Well what ever are we celebrating?"

"Now here comes the surprise..."

"Ooohhh! Let me tell her! Please, please!" A familiar feminine voice vibrated through the speakers as my second childhood best friend came into view on screen.

"Bianca? Hey! What's going on?" I frowned, curious as to what the big 'surprise' they have going on is.

"Right, well, it was all very spontaneous. But you know me, never knowing what it is I want to do with my life, always picking up one side project and never finishing it because I hear word of another and go towards that instead-". I was going to have to cut her off or else I'll be fifty by the time she stops rambling aimlessly and actually gets to the point.

"Bianca! What's the surprise?"

"Oh right! Sorry!" I glimpsed at Cheren to the left of her and giggled once again upon watching him shake his head with laughter. "Ok, I've decided to open up my very own hotel resort!" The blonde haired girl clapped her hands together excitedly, jumping around on the spot.

"What? Seriously?! That's so cool!" I exclaimed, genuinely excited. A hotel resort would be amazing, and a great place for the three of us to get together like old times. We haven't spent time just the three of us in so long. Although, it's partly my fault we haven't been able to. Cheren and Bianca have grown even closer over the last two years, and they've spent a lot of time together, training ever further and travelling with one another. But I was always off, searching for the boy who made such a big impact on my life, and when he finally saw the truth in what Ghetsis had made him do, he couldn't handle it, he just left. I searched the entire region for him, even travelled all the way to Sinnoh to see if he had been there. But all I found were two strong trainers who were foiling the plans of some, evil Team Galactic or something. I would've helped out in any way possible, but I had this feeling the legendary Pokémon were calling out to them, and didn't need an interference, which proved to be right.

"I know right! Cheren convinced me that I'd be totally capable of pulling it off and running it. I was a little bit reluctant at first, but now I think I'm ready to take the next step and be the manager of a fancy hotel!" I smiled happily. For the first time, I saw a glint in Bianca's eye that looked real. Every time she'd come up with a plan for the future, she would get excited and plan every thing out. But not once has she been this happy about something, and as her best friend, I could tell this was going to be it for her. And I couldn't be happier.

"So where are you going to build it? Somewhere warm I hope." I laughed, praying it would have a beach next to it.

"Right. So, I was thinking of building it somewhere around Undella Town. I mean, it's a perfect place with all of the expensive villas around, gorgeous weather for most of the year. And, it'll have an even bigger attraction with the Abyssal Ruins deep within the waters of Undella Bay. Think of the tourists it would pull in!"
