I stood before the Great Council, waiting for my new assignment. I was good at my job, maybe even one of the best. My job? Curing troubled souls. You see, I'm an angel. A good one. Was I beautiful? Of course, all angels were, in some from. I wasn't the most beautiful, but I was by human standards. Most we of course pale skinned with light hair, but not me. I had tan skin and dark brown hair. With my piercing silver eyes, I usually got my way. The Great Council was a council of old angels who chose assignments for angels. I tapped my foot, waiting. They shuffled through papers, murmuring. Klaus, the leader, turned to look at me.
"We have made our decision. Kailynne, your new assignment is a man named Toby. He's a tough case, but we think you can handle it. Are you up for the task?" he droned on in his monotone voice.
I nodded eagerly and handed him my amulet. He uploaded information and the location about my new client. He handed it back and I hung it around my neck. My brown and gold wings appeared. I walked to one of the many holes in the clouds, spreading my arms and falling through. I free fell for a couple of minutes before spreading my wings and soaring. I flew over oceans, checking my amulet. I veered west, flying for his location.
I went over his information. Other angels have tried, but none got even close. The ones that seemed to work most were the ones that pretended to be bad girls. I thought about my different options for clothes and smiled. I liked dressing up for the on. It was like being an actress. I landed behind a tall building and changed form. My wings disappeared, and instead of my gear I was wearing a red dress with black boots. My hair was up in a messy bun, and I had in dark lipstick and eyeshadow. It was late at night, and luckily I landed behind the club he was in. I walked around to the front and was stopped by a burly security guard.
"Name?" he asked.
He looked me up and down, grinning.
"I haven't come here before, but I know the owner. Me and Lucile go way back," I explained.
A dark angel owned every club, and even though we didn't like each other much we cooperated on missions. They may be dark, but even they don't like a corrupted soul that's too bad. They just like bad and dirty people. He checked his list, and my name appeared at the bottom. He nodded and let me through. I smiled and walked through the doors, down some steps and into the club. The music blared, and people were dancing and grinding everywhere.
It was dark with neon lights. I sat at the bar and ordered a drink, looking around. I checked a picture of him again and looked back up. I scanned the crowd, and someone caught my eye at a booth. Women surrounded him, flirting. His brown hair, hazel eyes, and face match my profile. He was staring at me, a dark look in his eyes. Something felt off, but I shook it off. I had my target. I grabbed my drink and got up, walking towards him. He waved the other girls away, focusing on me. They huffed and walked away as I sat down next to him.
"So cutie, you got a name?" I asked.
"Toby. And you are? Besides beautiful, I mean," he said charmingly.
"Kate. So what's a man like you doing in a place like this?" I flirted, taking a drink.
"I just wanted to get out. Looks like I've made a good choice," he answered, looking me up and down.
I crossed my legs, waiting for him to look away. He wouldn't, so I distracted him by causing a vase by him to fall. He looked over, giving me enough time to alter my dress a little. I made the neck go lower, showing a lot of cleavage. I made the hem shorter so it came up really short. It was already strapless, so I made the back open. I changed into a black thing and no bra, the dress could handle that. I tried to be as seductive as possible, I wanted to get this done quickly. When he looked back over he looked me up and own again, his eyes lingering on my breasts. I smiled as his eyes met mine again.
"Can I buy you a drink?" he asked.
I swished my drink around, and he grinned. A different song came on. He stood and held out a hand.
"How about a dance?" he offered.
I nodded and took his hand. A chill went up my spine, but I still went. We walked out to the middle of the dance floor, and began to dance. I was an amazing dancer from years of practice, and he was just as good. I knew every seductive move known, I had to use it a lot. I rocked my hips from side to side, pressing up against him and sliding down until I was almost to the ground, then slowly coming back up. I made sure I rubbed against his crotch so he would be turned on. I turned and began to dance with him some more, doing a scissor-like move. My left leg was between both of his, his left between mine. I walked my fingers up his chest and left my hand on his shoulder.
"You're amazing," he complimented.
We shimmied and leaned backwards. I threw my head back as his head was practically level with my boobs. We came back up and he put a hand on my hip.
"You're not too bad yourself," I replied.
He grabbed my hand and spun me in a circle, watching me. I put my other hand on his shoulder when he was done. I looked up into his eyes. A fire was burning there, full of desire and need. There was someone more sinister, but I shook my head. I just imagined it. His lips landed on mine, holding me close. I was a tease, so I broke apart and began to grind against him.
He growled and turned me back, forcing his lips on mine and his tongue between my teeth. I forced his tongue back out and bit his lip instead. He pushed me to the wall, pinning me with an arm on either side of my head. Like I was going anywhere. He kissed me hard on the lips, pressing against me and grinding. He groaned as I twisted my fingers in his hair. I tugged his lip between my teeth. He pulled back, his eyes dark.
"Let's get out of here," he said huskily.
He grabbed my wrist and led me through the crowd. He let go when we got to a black Mercedes. I sat in the passenger side while he walked around to the driver side. He drove down the street, looking over at me. I smiled and looked back. I waited as we pulled into an alley between two abandoned buildings. He parked and leaned his seat all the way back, pulling me on top of him.
I straddled him, slowly unbuttoning his suit jacket. When I got to the last button he practically ripped it off. I smiled and began unbuttoning his plain black shirt. After that I undid his tie and tossed it on the floorboards. He reached to my back and slipped the zipper down. I let it fall to the ground, exposing myself. Angels weren't too shy. He rolled over so he was on top and kissed me. He had abs, that was for sure. I tried to slip his pants down, but he leaned back. He stared at my amulet, fingering it.
"Such a pretty amulet. Tell me, do you have wings to match?" he murmured.
