I woke up in my bed. I shot upright and felt my arm. The scratches were gone, just white scars. They would disappear in about a week. I shakily got up and looked down, my blood was still on the floor, silver against the wood. The blood of an angel. I was sore all over, my ribs aching. I probably broke some last night.

I stumbled towards my door, but stopped. I could escape now, and he wouldn't know until it was to late. I went to the balcony, but when I looked below a maid was standing guard by the front door. She was probably a succubus. They all were. I sighed and walked out of my room. I crept through the hall and down the stairs. I staggered into the kitchen and searched his cabinets. There had to be something. Then I remembered.

I snapped my fingers, and a potion from my supplies appeared in my palm. I popped the top off and drank a small mouthful. I transferred it back to my stash in the home world and sat down. The potion began to take effect, and the soreness went away as my blood was replaced. I sighed in relief and got myself a glass of water. I drank it, thirsty from last night. A maid walked in. She was the red head. I wasn't sure I wanted to trust her anymore. But then I remembered how she became a succubus.

A succubus was a woman who slept with a demon and then turned around and slept with another man. The demon would become angry and change her into a succubus to reveal her true form. Demons were the opposites of angels, so a succubus was the opposite of cupids. A succubus was just into the physical contact, while cupids helped with true love. If two people saw the same cupid at the same time, they were meant to be.

She gave a slight nod, sadness in her eyes. She was a slave to Toby. She had probably seen the inside of that playroom too many times. I could tell last night she had only been following orders. I slipped her a ten.

"Keep it for yourself," I whispered.

She nodded and put a finger to her lips. I smiled and finished my water. At least I was doing some good. I got up and marched up to Toby's room. I opened the door. It was unlocked. I raised my eyebrows in surprise and opened it, remembering to duck. I walked in, wanting to talk to him. He was standing in his room in nothing but a towel. He looked like any other human, but I've seen his dark side. He turned to look at me. I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I'm not a human, I need to move, to fly. I need to get out, go places," I complained.

He smirked and stepped closer. He snapped his fingers and he was wearing the black suit and red tie. This time he was wearing a red shirt to match his tie.

"Fine, but I have to be with you," he said.

I rolled my eyes and agreed. He probably wouldn't let me go on my own. He knows I'd try to escape. I walked back to my room and changed into a white shirt and dark jeans. I turned and saw him waiting in the doorway. He shook his head. He snapped his fingers again and a red dress, a black jacket, and gold heels.

I raised an eyebrow and changed back into the shirt and jeans. We went into a war, but I finally changed into a red tank top, black skirt, and gold jacket. He nodded and led me down the stairs. He grabbed his keys and twirled them around his finger as he shut the door behind us. I shook my head and spread my wings.

"I've been cooped up. I need to stretch. I promise I won't try to escape," I said as he eyed me.

He finally gave a small nod and wrapped his arm around my waist. I stared at him like he had four noses.

"What makes you think I can fly with both of us if I couldn't last night? Besides, aren't demons like you supposed to have wings?" I asked.

He frowned. Suddenly his shirt was gone. He turned to show me his back. I didn't get it at first, but as I watched stubs appeared where wings should be. He willed them to disappear again and put a shirt back on. He turned back to face me, a smirk on his face.
