I can't believe what just happened. She said yes! Now that I have the girl of my dreams.. I have to talk to Jennifer. Hopefully she'll forgive me. Selena didn't have to act like that towards her which is the real reason why I'm going to confront her. I don't know why she thought we were dating? I'll talk to her sometime later or when we get back home. This is just too much drama to start off my summer break.
Bree POV
"Neva.. Your favorite show is on. I advise you to stop trying to pop those pimples on your face. There not going anywhere darling." I said while laughing.
"Shut up Bree. I wasn't even popping my pimples. I was washing my face to remove them smart ass." Neva said from the bathroom while drying her face.
"Yeah okay. Whatever you say ma. You don't have to lie.. Those black marks didn't show up on your face for nothing."
"Whatever Bree. What show are you talking about anyways?" Neva said while walking out the bathroom.
"Tom & Jerry."
"Oh my gosh.. I'm coming!" Neva said while squealing running then jumping on top of me.
"Ouch! Geez. It's just a cartoon. Was all of that necessary?" I said while laying on my back wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Of course. Tom & Jerry is the shit. I love this show! I've always loved this show since I was a child. My mother use to tell me when you & I use to eat lunch in my room.. We use to take our little snacks to the TV and sit on the carpet and watch it. Remember?" Neva said while giggling rubbing my cheek while smiling.
"Yeah. I do. I remember those days. I haven't talked to you in a while. So.. Wassup with you and.." I said while looking at Neva while her face suddenly change from happy to sad.
"Oh.. Danny? We actually broke up. Actually.. You remember Tina?" Neva said while sitting up looking into my eyes.
"Yeah. The one that Nicky.. You know." I said while tapping my fingers on my face for her to go on.
"Yeah. I didn't want to tell y'all but she cheated on me with Tina. I went to Danny house and I knocked on the door and she opened it. She was half naked. I knew something was up when she didn't let me come in. So when I asked her if I could come in she said no and that when I pushed her in & saw Tina naked on the couch with her legs wide open with Danny's strap right next to her. Doing the most mature thing.. I looked at Danny and walked to my car calmly and left while she tried to talk to me."
Neva said while playing with her fingers. "& the crazy thing about it.. I really didn't cry or have any emotion towards her."
"Oh damn.. I didn't know that. No wonder you have been home a lot more & haven't really been saying much about her. You we're always with her. Are you sure you're okay? "
"I'm fine. No problem here. I've actually just have had my eyes on someone else." She says as she winks her eye getting up to turn off the TV and walking back to the bed with her hands on her hips.
"Oh really? Who might this mystery girl be? I mean.. Do I know her?"
"Oh yeah. You definently know her. Your actually closer to her then what you think." She says while giggling turning off the room light & turning on the lamp by the bed.
"That narrows it down to.. Nicky?" I said with a confused look on my face.
"No." She says while getting under the covers propping her head with her elbow looking at me batting her eyes.
"I have no clue unless your taking about my mother."
Neva looks at me for a while until I make a weird face in disgust.
"GIRL! Your disgusting my mother?! Oh my gosh! "
"No fool. It's YOU! YOU BREE." She says while leaning up covering her eyes.
"O.. Oh. Me? R.. Really? Why me?"
"To tell you the truth Bree.." She says while getting closer to me.
