Nicky POV
"Hey Selena. Can I talk to you? It's very important." I said to Selena turning to look into those perfect brown eyes.
"Sure Nicky?" Selena said while getting up and taking my hand into her's. We get to her bedroom and walk in and sit on the bed.
"Don't freak out okay? I've been waiting 4 years to tell you this and I'm finally ready to tell you."
"Umm.. Is it bad because you know I don't handle bad news well" Selena said nervously while looking into my eyes.
"No baby girl. I've been waiting 4 years to tell you this and I finally think it's time to tell you. I said while turning into her holding both her hands.
"What's wrong Nick?" Selena said nervously
"I wanted to tell you.."
"Hey guys. Wassup with y'all? Why y'all holding hands for?" Jay asked coming into the room walking up to me & Selena. Selena got up and kissed and hugged Jay then turned around and looked at me.
"No reason. Nicky wanted to tell me something. What we're you about to say?" Selena said while in Jay's embrace.
"You know what–" Nicky said while getting up.
"It was nothing. Y'all ready to go? I think Neva & Bree are done packing up the car." I said angrily walking out.
"Sure" Both Selena & Jay said while walking out.
What the hell just happened just now? I had my chance and I wasted it. It's like the universe doesn't want me & Selena together. I love this girl but, she's with Jay. I can't wreck that. Maybe it's a sign to get over her or soon, I might have time & I'll be there when it's time.. Hopefully. All I can do as of right now is be her bestfriend and support their relationship. I know what I can do to get over her.
Nicky sends a text message
To Jennifer:
Nicky: Wassup ma? It's Nick. I know your probably with you family celebrating. I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out sometime?
Jennifer: Sure. I'm down. It doesn't matter to me. When?
Nicky: Doesn't matter to me. I wanna take you out. I like you and I think maybe.. This can work. You & I?
Jennifer: I typically don't accept someone asking me out via text but for you.. I'll make your life easier. Sure. I would be honored.
Nicky: My b. That's wassup. I'll ttyl and let you know wassup. Aight?
Jennifer: Okay.
Selena POV
I wonder what Nicky wanted to tell me? It must have been something because I know Nicky. I could tell that she was angry. I know it had to be dead ass serious. I hope it wasn't something bad. I'll ask her later when we get to the hotel.
"Y'all ready to go?" Neva said while holding Bree hand walking outside too my parents' van.
"Yeah." Nick & Jay said in unison
Jay's phone begins to ring so I walk over to the phone to answer it for him.
"Jay? Your phone is ringing. I'll get it for–" I said while looking at the phone. I realize it's a text message and I unlock his phone because.. I have the right to. I'm his girl.
SELENA DROPS THE PHONE
"What's wrong Selena?" Jay said while walking over to her and realizing what's on the phone.
"What the actual fuck?" I said while looking at him.
"Selena–" Jay said.
