Chapter 10

"Gosh, I feel so stupid to be honest" I admitted.

"Why?" She asked.

"I love him" I said, nearly in tears.

"How is that stupid?" She asked.

"Because he loves her" I mumbled.

"Why Penelope, is love supposed to hurt like this?" I asked her.

"No Lee, if it hurts, that's not love." She explained.

"But I love him" tears escaped my eyes.

"Then why are you hurt?" She asked.

"Because he loves her ex that cheated on him. What about me? I was always there for him, yet he never sees my efforts for him"

"F*ck, it hurts so much" I cursed.

I continued crying. All Penelope did was letting me cry on her shoulder.

I love him, I never got a chance to say so. Maybe that's why I'm hurt right now. The next time I fall, I'm making sure I won't be hurt again.

If he's stupid at love, I'm probably more stupid than him. I already know he loves another girl yet I didn't stop myself from loving him.

You know that moment when you can feel your heart breaking into small pieces? That's what I feel right now.

I love him and honestly all I wish right now is for him to be happy.

Even though it's not with me...

It might hurt so much, but that's okay for me.

I'm used to it.

All these times I've been telling people we're friends, I didn't even get to realize I wanted it to be more than that.

All these times he would joke about him liking me, I never really knew I'd be wishing it would be true right now.

Blake, if only you know how much it hurts for me to see you and Jasmine together.

And as if on cue, they were walking around the park. Laughing, gazing at each other's eyes and realizing how much they love each other.

I immediately started the engine.

"Woah, where are we going?" Penelope asked.

"Home" I said.

The car started moving so we were already on the road. I drove so fast, I didn't care anymore. Okay, maybe I still do, but it hurts for me.

Penny's here with me, I couldn't let her die with me. Yes, if being happy means dying,  I'd do that.

You might think I'm crazy, but he's happy for all I care. He has Jasmine and he's happy now.

"Penny you might wanna stop by here" I said pulling up to a parking space.

"Yeah, it's already my house" she said, amused.

"Don't do anything harmful okay?" She said then went out.

Then I started the engine and drive fast.

The rain started to pour so I couldn't really see that clear. I didn't really know what would've happened.

Blake, I love you. If I haven't told you that, please let this give you a clue about it. Penny will explain everything to you.

Next thing I knew there was a loud horn.

"BEEEEEEEP"

I stepped on the brake fast.

The car spinned so fast I got so dizzy.

I felt the world turning to pitch black darkness.

Blake, I love you. I hope you know that and nothing can make me more happier than seeing you happy. Even if it meant seeing you with her. Just never forget everything we had.

I didn't really feel anything, but I could hear doctors beside me, rushing me to their room.

"Is she gonna be okay?" I hear Penny asked.

"We'll let you know as soon as possible" the doctor said then he closed the doors

I felt tired, so I closed my eyes.

"Ahhh" I woke up at a hospital bed.

"You're awake!" Mom said, going near my bed.

"What happened??" I asked.

"Well.." She started "you met an almost car accident last night"

"What's that?" I asked.

"Well, you didn't really crashed into any car, your car's movement was too fast for you too handle that you probably bumped your head against the front part of your car" mom explained.

"My car!!" I cried.

"That's all you're worried about right now?" Sierra asked.

"No, not really" I answered.

"When can I get out of here?" I asked.

"Not until next week" mom said.

"What??"

"Sad to say this, but you have to skip school for a week, I've contacted penny to give the assignments Asap" Sierra said.

"Oh no Penny, she's probably worried sick right now" I guessed.

"She was last night, but unfortunately the doctors couldn't let her in" mom said.

Then all we could hear was the sound from the machine beside me. Mom's phone rang so she went outside to answer it.

"Seriously though, what made you think of going over the speed limit on a rainy night?" Sierra asked.

I looked at her.

"It's about Blake" I said.

"Wow, I'm surprised you don't remember how you met an accident but you remembered why" she said.

"Well, I guess that's one of my best features" I bragged.

"Anyways, what about him? Did he do anything to you?" She asked.

"He broke my heart" I admitted for what seemed like forever.

"Not just you heart" my sister added.

"Well you get the point don't you?" I reassured.

"Yeah whatever" she rolled her eyes then sat on the couch
