Ah yes, coffee and writing. Perfect.

Today, I told my manager that I wanted to take a rest after working for a whole week.

Yes, I took summer job to pay all the things people gave me. If you're asking what my job is, it's something like painting, except I draw words.

For short, lettering. Yes I loved doing that since I was a kid. I can't help but design every quotes I see.

After writing my sketch in a scratch paper, I grabbed my sketch book and my pencil. Opening the first few pages, I was sort of proud.

But these quotes are all requested, nothing really comes right from my heart. So this quote I'm doing right now, is the quote I loved.

"They say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, obviously they haven't been in your arms yet"

And it's true, nothing is better than to get a hug from a person you love.

Unfortunately, mine is somewhere in this world, living with the love of his life.

While I leave the love of my life.

It's gonna make things better, that's for sure. He's happy which makes me happy as well. I love him, he loves her, but atleast I wouldn't be able to make it worse.

Everything's okay now, even if I'm not.

After doodling through the pages, erasing and doodling again, I finally finished my work of art.

I grabbed my micron pen to outline the letters. Few minutes later I was done. I was proud of my work. Finally, its something that came from my heart. Not literally.

I took a sip from my coffee, noticing that it's empty. I got up and went to the kitchen.

When I got there, I went through my cabinets where I put my coffee. It's been a while and I still couldn't find a single sachet for my coffee.

Guess I'll be going to Starbucks.

I got my cardigan and headed for the door. But before I went out, obviously I locked my apartment in case someone's gonna break in.

Since my apartment was at the first floor, I was already outside in no time.

Luckily, Starbucks was just 2 blocks away, which makes it close for me to walk.

After walking for a couple of minutes, I was already at Starbucks. Looking through the menu, I was debating whether if I'd take Cafe Latte or Java Chip.

I was thinking of having a coin toss, but if I'd do it here in public wouldn't that be embarrassing? Unfortunately I still don't know how to do it properly, so it would often fall to the floor.

So coin toss is a bad idea.

After deciding which one I'll take, I ended up buying Java Chip, since I probably haven't drank one in a while.

I got my order then headed for the exit, I was still putting my change in my bag while I was walking so it wasn't a surprise when I bumped with another person.

"I-im so so so sorry miss, it's all my fault I wasn't looking" that voice..

"It's fine" then I looked at the coffee I was holding, some of the contents spilled but not all of them. Some went on my cardigan.

"There goes my cardigan" I muttered while wiping the stained part with my handkerchief.

"H-Hailey?" The guy asked. I didn't dare to look cause my cardigan was messed up.

With that, I ran away.

"Wait, miss uh I-I mean Hailey!" He yelled while chasing me.

You can consider me a slow poke at this cause he managed to grab my wrist which made me stop.

"Let me go!" I said, struggling to escape from his arms.

"Hailey! Relax it's me" he said.

"I don't know you" I lied, ofcourse I knew him.

"Y-you don't?" He asked, letting go of me.

"It's me, Trevor" he said.

"What do you want?" I asked.

Forgot to tell you this but, he's my childhood friend and also one l
of the reasons Jack broke up with me.

He told lies to Jack about me cheating with him. He probably did that cause he liked me before.

"I hate you" I said running away.

"I hate that I love you" he said, standing there. He didn't chase me after that.

Why life? I already forgot about him. Then that's the time he came when I, myself, am in peace.

I went to my apartment, still holding onto my cardigan.

After entering my apartment, I went straight to my bedroom. Then flopped on my bed.

I don't wanna make a big deal out of this, but considering the fact that it's slowly consuming me, it probably is a big deal.

"I miss you so much Lee" Penny says from the screen. We are currently having a video call on Skype and it's been an hour.

"You keep saying that" I laughed.

"Well. What kind of bestfriend would i be if I don't" she asked, laughing after.

"True, but I need to tell you something-"

"I really really really really really really like you!" She cut my sentence off.

"Please, listen to me" I begged.

"Okay I'm chill" she said.

"The thing is, I saw Trevor yesterday" I started, closing my eyes.

"What??" She asked. Obviously that would be her reaction I mean, she knows me too much.

"Yeah and guess what?"

"Oh I hate guessing" she complained.

"Okay fine, he told me he still loves me" I said.

"Oh My Gosh!!" She shouted probably enough to make my screen break into tiny pieces.

"What should I do? Considering the fact that I hate him" I said, disappointed.

"Nothing, if you can't love him back, he'll be able to move on like what you did to Jack" she said.

"True"

Then there was a knock on the door.

"Oh, I gotta go Penny, someone's at the door" I said.

"Bye" she said then ended the call.

I walked towards the door just to get another knock.

"Just a sec" I said then opened the door.

"H-hey"
