Chapter 10

You woke up one night with the sound of your phone ringing...

"Huh? Wat-?"

You bolted upright when you saw who called...

"Sebastian the Idiot

Calling...."

You sighed this is the fifth time he called you this week...

Sebastian is your aunt's butler slash lover..

and their relationship is seriously an eye sore..

Not only seducing your aunt is just Sebastian's plan to get his crummy hands on the (L/N) family fortune....

but also due to their age gaps..

15 years can make you uncomfortable but 25 years can make you cringe..

"What do you want, you cougar loving bastard?"

"Such awful words coming from a fine lady don't you think, young mistress?" He said playfully

You rolled your eyes in disgust as you could feel him smirk in the other side of the line..

"What are you calling for in the middle of the night?" You sneered

"Oh my, did I? It's actually late afternoon here in Par--"

"Just cut to the chase, why did you call me, Sebastian?"

His tone shifted slightly over the line as he was preparing to tell you what he was going to say..

'This is probably important'

Sebastian is rarely serious and if he is then he's telling something really important...

"The investigators have leads to where your brother is.."

"What?" You whispered trying not to disturbe your sleeping roommates

You went inside the bathroom so no one could hear you...

"What do you mean? why didn't they told me that first?"

"The investigators notified your aunt first.."

You mentally cursed..

'I'm the one who hired those jerks'

"okay what did they say ?" You asked

"Based on eye witness accounts, they spotted a boy wandering that match Master Jiro's description.."

"Where?" You demanded

"Somewhere in Z City...that's all I know so far..."

Z City? that's where you are right now....does that means Jiro's nearby??

"Okay, thank you, Sebastian"

You hanged up the phone and looked at the mirror..

"Jiro might be alive...and is somewhere in this city?" You said in the reflection

You sighed as you looked at yourself in the mirror

'There's still hope' you thought

You felt your body getting heavy and tired, you really need that sleep now..

You got out of the bathroom and laid down face first on your futon..

(time skip)

You woke up with a splitting headache and your body felt like lead...

"Wake up"

You turned and looked at Genos..

"Good morning,man" You said groggily

"You need to get up, Sensei sends us both on a quest"

You moved a little bit so you have a better view of his face..

"A quest,what quest?"

"Sensei's on his way on a huge sale a few cities away and there's this sale on vegetables happening at the same time"

"You mean an errand?"

You chuckled but the pain in your head wouldn't stop..

You love how he takes everything a little bit serious...

it's kinda....cute

"Alright just let me wash my face"

You stood up but staggered a bit when you did so..

"(Y/N), are you okay?"

"Yeah I'am" actually you aren't sure..

You stood up and went to the bathroom..

After a few minutes, you and Genos are outside of the apartment..

"whew, Genos can you feel that cold?" You faced him as you two walked in a sidewalk

'What are you thinking?! he's a cyborg can he even feel cold'

you thought looking away from him...

"The temperature right now is below avarage but I don't think it's what you consider a cold temperature.."

*sigh* 'seriously?!'

"Do you feel cold right now?" He asked without looking at you

"uhm....no this is tolerable.I'm fine" You said

You quicken your pace so you could get this errand over with...

You brought the sale vegetables and quickly asked Genos to go home..

"We should stop first" He suggested

"why?" You asked

"You seem sluggish, are you sick?"

You didn't answer his question instead you sat on a bench and he followed soon after...

You felt relieved after your sat down, Genos sat beside you..

" Yeah I think we should rest.." You said softly..

You leaned unto his broad shoulder...

'Thank God he's warm'

You fell asleep instantly after that...
