Third person POV

He didn't know when it happen but it just did...

Genos wasn't sure why but everytime he saw (Y/n) his core keeps spinning wildly.

Did she install some sort of malware in him?

Is she some kind of virus?

Did she do something to him?

He didn't know what's in that girl that made him nuts, she yells a lot, doesn't have the right manners, and completely un-lady like. She's completely opposite to what an heir of some company should act like...

But somehow she feels....

....like home

"...so can you stop scanning me now?"

He looked unto her beautiful (e/c) eyes. It was weird, when did he find (Y/n) beautiful?

"Alright"

"T-thanks"

"Wake up" Genos said while shaking (Y/n) so she would wake up

She turned and looked at Genos.

"Good morning,man"

She said it in a groggy voice but it send surges of electricity in his core

"You need to get up, Sensei sends us both on a quest"

She moved a little bit that's when he gets a better view of her..

"A quest,what quest?"

"Sensei's on his way on a huge sale a few cities away and there's this sale on vegetables happening at the same time"

"You mean an errand?"

She chuckled while Genos struggled to keep his composure

The moment (Y/n) stood that's when his scanner told him she was sick

"(Y/N), are you okay?"

"Yeah I'am"

Genos wanted to cancel the errand and just stay home instead. He wanted to tell her she's sick but that'll end up to another argument with her which might make her feel worse.

"Hey, Genos which one do you like, the carrots or the cabbage?"

(Y/n) asked as she held out the vegetables in front of him. He didn't respond to her question but simply looked at her face

"You really are pretty"

Genos was shocked at what he said. It was the first time he said something that came out unexpectedly.

"What?" (Y/n) looked at him with a trace of suspicion on her face

"I-I m-mean the c-cabbage, they look pretty. L-Let's take the cabbage instead"

(Y/n) eyed the cabbages and wondered what's so pretty about them. She looked back at him and smiled

"Okay, let's take the cabb--ah!"
(Y/n) stumbled a bit but Genos caught her just in time.

"Hey are you really okay?"

"Yeah, I'am my stupid head just acting up a little bit"

She said she's okay but his scanner told otherwise..

"Why don't we just go home" Genos said while supporting her weight

"Ah-ah as soon as were done with our 'quest'." She said forcing out a smile

He knew (Y/n) was in pain and he wanted to carry her back home but he doesn't want to get weird around her either.

Genos was on his way to his doctor after he carried (Y/n) back home all the way from the market..

He remembered how he panicked when (Y/n) passed out on his shoulder. That was really weird,even before when he's in half and tossed around like a rag doll he doesn't panic at all..

"Sensei, h-how? S-she just passed out and--" Genos said with (Y/n) in his arms

"Calm down, just put her down and place a wet towel over her head.."

Saitama said while holding a TV remote...

"B-but sen--"

"She'll be fine, Genos. Just do as I tell you, I'll give her medicine once she wakes up"

He lets her down in the soft bedding and did what his teacher told him to

"What seems to be the problem, my boy?" Dr. Kuseno while scribble some sort of paperwork in his office..

"I need to ask you something, doctor"

"What would it be this time, lad?" He said not leaving his attention on his work

Genos told the doctor about (Y/n), how his core spins wildly when he's around her, and when the time he panicked about her only for getting sick..

"...and I always seem to think about her everytime, it's like my brain doesn't want to delete anything that has to do with her"

He stopped writing and placed his pen on the side..

"Hmm I guess you're more human than I thought"

"What does that mean, doctor?"

"It's time to figure that out all on your own"

Genos didn't ask the doctor anymore questions, he knew doing so would just lead to more questions than answers.
He excused himself to the doctor and left..

"Where are you going?"

Genos grabbed (Y/n) by the wrist and was pulled right back at him. (Y/n) protested and tried to escape his grip..

"It's obvious you guys don't like him as company so I'm taking him with me. You go with Sensei, the sale might end soon. We'll just meet later at the apartment"

He didn't say a word and just held her wrist tighter

"Genos, please let go of me"

"I don't trust him" he said

"But I do..."

"He might hurt you"

"I'm certain that he won't..please let me go" She said

Genos finally lets go of her, he turned his attention back to his teacher which was smiling at him.

"What?"

"Ya know you're too obvious, man"

"What do you mean, sensei?"

"Dude, you're jealous"

Saitama walked pass him flyer at hand. Genos jogged to follow his teacher.

"I don't quite understand what you're getting at, sensei"

Saitama rolled his eyes and continued to walk while still looking at the flyer..

"You don't like (Y/n) with Jack-o'-Lantern Panic and you can't let her go--"

"It's because he might hurt her--"

"No, it's because you're jealous. Now hurry the sale might end any minute"

Genos simply nodded and followed his master's order.

This was the first time he felt like this toward someone else. He knew the formula and science behind this feeling but why does it have to be with the girl that he always argue with.

Does he like her....romantically?
