Asher was an absolute jerk to everyone and everything, treating us like peasants before a tyrannical King. It seemed we had developed a routine, I would wake up and immediate head for the bathroom; he would be sitting in the window sill outside my door twirling a wine glass full of fresh blood.

I'd glare at him, he's hold out his glass as if to do a toast. After a shower I would go downstairs and he'd be sitting at the dining table with his feet on the table, despite Esme's irked look from the living room.

I'd spend my day learning how to play piano with Renesmee or work on cars with Emmett, Asher tailing me the entire day. At night I would try and sneak out my window or take a tiny peek outside, in an instant I would find Asher outside my window. I was working hard to find out what his gift was, to no avail. I'd asked once only to have him laugh and rub my head as if I was his pet.

Liam was becoming irate- or so is heard from Edward, he was lurking around the house waiting for the moment Asher's guard would be down, which seemed to be never. He fed off human blood the Cullens were keeping for such an occasion and never left the house, his presence was becoming increasingly frustrating. I eventually begged Alice enough to get her help for a little prison break...

It was around 10 pm when I climbed stealthily from my bed, immediately aware of a presence in my room. Alice smiled swiftly from my window sill as Jasper poked his head in, I walked over to them.

"Sure this will work?" I asked cautiously, Alice laughed silently.

"You would bet against a psychic?" She asked, I shook my head,"Thanks for this Alice." I was extremely grateful as climbed into my bed, I slid out my window with ease and was immediately running into the woods in search of Liam.

With a great deal of effort and energy I made it back to their makeshift reservation, but I was confused. It was silent and there was a fire crackling in the fire pit, no lights shun in the houses.

"Liam?" I called out, glancing around. My heart was thumping wildly in my chest as I walked closer to the fire. I was shocked to find a shredded shirt on the ground.

"Liam?!" I shouted, my eyes now scanning the tree line.

"Ally! What are you doing here!" I jumped as his voice came from behind me, but faced him with a relieved smile.

"Liam!! I-"

He suddenly pushed me toward he trees harshly,"Go home."

I was confused, his focus was tight and all his muscles tense,"Liam? What's wrong?"

He shook his head as I tried to head his way again,"No! You have to go!"

I looked around, there was no one here. Just us, the moon, and the fire. "But I thought you'd be happy I managed to get away from Asher."

Suddenly he gripped his head in agony, crying out and nearly falling over, I winced at the sound of bones snapping.

"What's gong on!!" Fear came alive in my blood stream, all the hair stood at the nape of my neck.

His golden eyes elongated and his teeth became rigid, in around a minute a monster one wolf stood before me with pitch black fur and liquid gold eyes. I gulped,"L-Liam?"

The wolf launched at me, mouth opened and teeth ready, I closed my eyes and prepared to be shredded.

The pain never reached me, instead there was a shift in the atmosphere and suddenly I was in a tree watching the wolf below, his beautiful golden eyes had never looked so deadly. My eyes snapped to something holding me in place, it was a pale arm wrapped around my waist.
