Ok, here we go. Round 3. This story is something that I wrote out a few chapters of about a year ago. So the first few chapters have been on my computer for about a year. I'll probably change it up a little but anyways enough of me...here we go. ♥♥

"I love you babe." Riley smiled at her boyfriend Mike.
"Mmmm I love you too honey." He mumbled back sleepily. Riley just smiled. She loved their lazy Saturdays together. They were spending the day laying on her couch and watching a movie, when Mike fell asleep. Riley just laughed, he could never make it through a movie without nodding off.
"Mike, I have to go to work." Riley told him as she got off the couch and stretched out her muscles, stiff from having laid in the same position for to long. Mike slowly stood up, his gorgeous brown hair that Riley loved so much sicking up in every direction.
"But it's Saturday. Saturdays are our days to spend together." He said as he pulled her towards him.
"I know, and I'm really sorry. But I've had to pick up extra shifts at the nursing home since Cassie quit. But I heard that a new nurse is starting today so hopefully I'll start having more free time." Riley explained as she met his embrace. After kissing goodbye, Mike left her apartment to let her get ready to go to work.
After changing into some light pink scrubs and white tennis shoes, Riley grabbed her keys and left. When she pulled up to the nursing home where she worked as a nurse, there was a red sports car in the parking spot next to hers. She figured it must be the new nurse who was supposed to be working on her floor. Pushing the thoughts out of her mind, Riley got her stuff and went into work.
A few hours after getting to work, Riley was reviewing her schedule for the next week. She noticed that she did not have as many hours and that some guy named Miles was scheduled to work with her every day that she did work next week. Riley smiled, if she wasn't working as much she could spend more time with Mike. Someone ran into her, pulling Riley from her thoughts. She stumbled backwords and reached out to steady herself against the wall.
"I'm so sorry." She didn't recognize the man's voice that she heard behind her. Riley turned around to let him know that she wasn't mad. However, when Riley turned around she was met by the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen. She couldn't for words or even think clearly. His eyes had her hypnotized. His voice finally broke the transe that Riley was in. "Um...Hello?" He was waving his hand in front of her face.
"I'm-I'm sorry. What were you saying?" Riley asked, looking down from embarassment.
The guy smiled. "I said I was sorry for running in to you." He ran a hand through his wavy blonde hair, an innocent movement that made Riley's heart race.
"Um...It's ok." She managed to get out. Gosh, why was it so hard for her to put thoughts together.
He stuck out his hand. "I'm Miles." Riley grabbed his hand didn't want to let go. She felt a fire start in her hand and run up her arm and through her body when he shook her hand.
"I'm. I'm Riley." Well, at least she managed to get her name right.
Miles smiled again and Riley felt her heart melt. "It's nice to meet you Riley, I'll see you around." With that, he turned around and walked down the hall. Riley just stood there, unable to think and unable to process what had just happened. Why had she reacted that way to him? She was in love with her boyfriend Mike. Her reaction to Miles bothered her. What bothered her even more was that she was excited by the fact that she was working with Miles now. She couldn't wait to get to know him better.
After getting all of the residents down to the cafeteria for supper, Riley decided it was time to get something to eat herself. She headed to the employee cafeteria and bought a bowl of soup and a water. Her brain was in overload and she didn't know what to think. The way she reacted to Miles earlier was strange. His eyes had hypnotized her and she had wanted to run her fingers through his soft looking hair. But what about Mike?
Riley took a deep breath. Maybe what she was feeling was normal. Let's be honest, Miles was hot. He had great hair, an athletic build, and the most amazing eyes she had ever seen. She could admit that another guy was good looking without being attracted to him. She as in love with Mike. She didn't even know Miles, of course she wasn't attracted to him. Riley heard someone sit down across from her and she looked up. Her heart rate immedietally picked up. Speak of the Devil.
