And there we stand.
You know when you first make eye contact with someone, it's scary. Terrifying actually. When someone doesn't make any eye contact; it seems as if they don't care, and in some cases they probably don't. A little contact makes them seem shy and a little too much makes it look rude. As if they would want something from you. Normally I would've broken the stare already. The amount of eye contact we're making at this point is longer than average, but the feeling it's giving me is fascinating. It feels as if with just one look he is refilling my heart.
At first it freaked me out, but right now i'm softened. He is still holding me. I can feel his sweaty palms tangled around my wrists. I wasn't exactly sure how this would end or when it even started, but what I do know is that at this point; there is no way back. This is how it is and I'm not complaining. Far from.
After a while I smile and look down. Isaac lets go of my wrists and at that moment I realize how I look. Pyjama on, my hair in a bun and my make up has been washed off. I look up to Isaac and softly laugh. "What?" He says and smirks. I shake my head and bite my lip softly. Not in a sexy way, hell no absolutely not. I brush my hand over my face and over my hair, but then my bedroom door opens. It's my mom to check up on me. "Sweety, you okay?" She asks out of the blue. "Oh Isaac. I thought you were staying at Scott's place" my mom says the moment she notices Isaac. "Yes, I had to pick something up so... I decided to come by" Isaac answers and looks at me. I raise my eyebrows in a 'did you?' kind of way and clear my throat. My mom nods and winks at me. "Night mom" I say the moment she closes the door. I look at Isaac and chuckle. "You had to pick something up?" Isaac scratches the back of his neck and laughs while staring at the ground. "Why were you here though?" "Like I said, I couldn't sleep" he answered without any emotion showing on his face. "Yea but... Why come all the way here. I mean how can I change that?" I say uncertain. "Well I don't really have a home, but being with you feels like I do have one."
My heartbeat fastened the moment he said that. A sentence so simple has such a big effect on me. I tilt my head a little, frown and give away a slight smirk which makes him laugh a little. "I should probably go" he starts and focusses on my eyes again. I press my lips together and gently nod. He comes a little closer, grabs my hands and plants a soft but sweet kiss on my forehead. I softly giggle (not in a girly way though) and watch him walk towards my window. "Why don't you just go through the front door?" I ask. "Because this is romantic, right?" He winks at me and climbs out of the window. I walk towards the window and watch him walk away with his hands in his pockets, and his head down low.
8:22 AM
I walk into the classroom right on time and take a seat. I look around me to see who's here and who's not. Allison is talking to both Stiles and Scott, laughing, and Lydia is drawing around her notes. She lifts her head, her stare turns to me and then she gives me a funny, but still admirable smile. I chuckle and so does she.
The next moment Isaac walks in and throws his bag next to his seat, next to me. He winks at me and quickly sits down. "Are you going tonight?" I hear a voice say. I turn around to see Scott, Stiles and Allison waiting for me to answer. "Tonight?" Allison nods as a response. "You know about the party, right?" Scott adds. "Well, not really." I reply and frown a little. "We'll pick you up at 8 tonight." Lydia says out of nowhere. "Are we all going?" "Yea all six of us" Allison replies and smirks at me. She knows what I mean, who I meant. I giggle and turn around to look at the teacher who is now screaming for our attention.
