Ch. 5 middle of the night

About 2 weeks have passed.

It's getting to about spring time. I hear Chad laughing in his room. His laugh always makes me smile. I really feel like I'm getting closer to him, and it's great.
I hear rain patter on the roof. Great..I really hope it doesn't storm. I'm afraid of them.

*five minutes later*

And it's storming. Great. Finally I hear Chad tell everyone he'll see them in the next video. I wait for him to leave the gaming room and head to his room.

I leave my room after the boom of thunder. I shake and whine. Yeah I'm a baby I know..

I open his door and run in and shut it.
"Woah Erin, what's wrong?"
*lightning cackles*
I jump into his bed and hide under the covers.
"I-I'm..afraid of storms." I quiver.
"Aww.." He smiles and lays down next to me.
He wraps his arms around me and kisses my forehead. I blush madly, of course.
"Everything will be alright Erin, it's just a small storm."
*thunder booms and shakes the house*
I jump and move closer into his arms.
"But I'm..scared Chad.."
"Why? It's not going to hurt you I promise. We're safe, I've got you."
"O-okay.." I try to ignore the booming and lightning flashes. He doesn't stop smiling.
"Chad..why are you smiling?" I ask.
"Because I'm holding the girl of my dreams." He said, smiling even bigger and looking into my eyes.
My.
Heart.
Melted.
I smile and feel my eyes droop.
"You're tired, why don't you go to sleep?"
"I want to keep talking to you.." I say very sleepily.
"Erin.." He squeezes me tighter after hearing more thunder. "Get some sleep."
"Mhmm.." I feel myself falling slowly asleep, hearing his breaths next to me.
