Ch. 13

It's been a few weeks since I was at Tays house, and I haven't heard from her since. I'm actually starting to get worried. Maybe she's been busy with work or something? But not even Noble knows where she's at. I call her and she doesn't answer. Man, she stresses me out.

Chad walks out of his recording room, coughing up a storm. That poor man is always sick. I take his hand and lay him down on the couch. I take his temperature and it's really high.
"Chad, you're really sick, you shouldn't record anything for a few days."
"But.." He coughs. "I need to catch up on videos.."
"Chad...please trust me on this. Take a break until you feel better. I'm going to get you some medicine." He nods and I walk to the medicine cabinet. I get out the DayQuil and take it to him. He quickly falls asleep after I give it to him. I don't know how, i mean, it wasn't NyQuil.

Chads been asleep for about an hour now. I decide to go to Tays house and see if she's there. I've been really worried about her.

I take a pen and write Chad a note about me being gone. Then I grab his keys and go out to the car. It's not a long drive to her house, but it's hotter than Sagan outside and I want to stay cool.

I arrive and her grass hasn't been cut for..hmm..maybe a week. I knock on her door, and, no answer. It's unlocked, so I walk in. I just stand there in awe. Her house is a mess. I mean, worse than usual. I walk up her stairs to get to her room. I see her laying on her bed, crying, then I run in.
"Tay what's wrong?? What happened? Who's ass needs sent to Sagan?"
"All they do is yell at me at work and I never get any free time any more. I mean, yeah I'm getting money, but I never get to spend time with you guys, and Noble!" She cries.
"Tay why didn't you just text me? We all miss you so much."
"I..don't know. I'm sorry." I hug her and she wipes her eyes.
"Don't ever be afraid to even say, like, sorry I've been super busy lately. Because we've all been worrying about you! I missed you Taylor."
"Thanks Ein." I chuckle a bit.
"Now come on. We're gonna cancel you going to work tomorrow, and we're gonna go to my house, and play with Cheddar and Snowball all day. Sound good?"
She smiles a bit. "Yeah."
"Now I have to go back home because Chad is sick and I need to make him some soup and grilled geese. Wanna come?"
She sits up and gets her shoes on. "Yes."

We go back to Chads house and he's still sleeping. I give Taylor a Mountain Dew and start cooking. I'm glad she's okay now.
