Ch.6 Pax east part 1

I wake up in Chads bed and look next to me. He's not there. Suddenly his door opens and he comes in. He's still wearing his pajamas and his hair is messy. Then I notice he's carrying a tray of fresh pancakes. I smile and he sets them on my lap.
"Good morning cutie." He says and I blush. He's just the sweetest.
I dive right into the pancakes. I'm so hungry. In mid-chew I realize I didn't thank him. Eventually I finish and I kiss him on the cheek.
"Thank you Chad." I say with a smile.
"Hey Erin. I've been meaning to ask you something."
Oh gosh. Is he going to ask me out???
"I'm going to PAX east for the first time.."
Oh.
"..and I was wondering if you'd go with me."
I smile huge. "I'd love to go Chad!!"
I get up and hug him tight.

We're going to pax east!!
*time skip to packing* (there's going to be a lot of time skips just bear with me.)
I cant believe he told me on such short notice. But oh well. I finally finish packing my things then I go to Chads room to see if he's done. Before I enter, I see him messing with something in a small jewelry like box.. What could it be?

Well, I don't know. I won't be nosy. He puts the thing away and I walk in.
"Are ya done yet?"
"Um yeah I just finished. We'll leave at 5am to get to the plane."
I groan. "5am?? Really?"
He chuckles. "It'll be fine, you can sleep on the plane."
"Oh, alright."
We put our things by his door for an easy pick up when we leave. Chad tweets out to his followers to say sorry his video was late today. He's so sweet.
I lay down in my bed and yawn. It's 9:24 pm. I might as well sleep now, so I get at least some energy in the morning.

.
I didn't end up going to bed until 12am.
.
..
...
I hear the sound of my alarm and groan. I slowly get up and rub my head.
"Its too early for this shit." I think to myself. But, then I tell myself I'm going to pax with Chad. That makes me smile a bit.

*time skip to waiting for plane*

Chad and I are sitting down, waiting for the plane to let us in. I'm really bored..so I think. Why don't I text my best friend Taylor?! She always goes to pax. Maybe she's going to this one.
'Hey Tay, are you doing to pax east?' I text.
A minute passes and she texts back.
'Of course! I'm there now. Why do you ask?'
'I'm going to be there. With my friend Chad. He's a YouTuber, Chadtronic.' She reads the text and doesn't say anything. Then all of a sudden,
'YOURE FRIENDS WITH CHADTRONIC???OH MY GOSH EIN!!!'
I laugh. She always makes me smile.
'Yeah haha it's a long story. Maybe when I get there we can hang out?'
She replies with 'yeah buddy. Now imma go hunt down Noble senpai.'

I laugh. "Of course."
Chad looks at me weird.
"Of course what?"
"Oh my friend, she's hunting down Noble."
"Like, Lost Pause? That guy?"
"Yeah, do you know him?"
He laughs. "Duh silly. I have his number!"
I grin evilly. "Tays gonna loooove this."

*time skip to on plane.*

It's about an hour into our flight to Boston. I'm really tired.
"Chad."
"Hmm?" He looks at me.
"I'm really tired. I didn't get to sleep until 12am."
He sighs. "Then sleep!"
"But I don't feel comfortable sleeping around strangers!!" I mutter under my breath.
"Here," He wraps his arm around me and pulls me closer so I'm warm. "Now sleep. I'll be here and make sure no one stares at you. I smile.
"Thanks Chad. You're the best."
I drift into sleep and I feel him kiss me on the forehead.

*time skip to pax.*

Chad opened the door for me to enter the convention. Holy. Shit. There's so many people. So many cosplayers. And I'm so claustrophobic. There are people all around me. I start looking around frantically and freaking out. Oh gosh. What if I loose Chad. What if someone kidnaps me. What if...
"Erin!" Chad yells. "Are you okay?"
I'm starting to feel really dizzy. Why do I always have anxiety attacks when it's not a good time to?
I feel Chad grab my hand and pull me. He sits me down in the nearest chair and crouches down. He holds both of my hands tightly and looks into my eyes.
"Erin, please answer me. Are you okay?"
"I-I'm sorry...panic..attack..I'm. Very claustrophobic..."
He sighs and closes his eyes.
"Erin.." He opens his eyes again. "I know it's kinda crowded. Once we get to my panel area, we'll be behind a table and no one can get to you. I'll be here with you the whole time, I promise."
"Thank you Chad.." He helps me up and holds my hand while we walk to his area. Every so often we would get stopped by a fan. He's so sweet to them. One of the boys that stopped him gave him a plushie of him. He said he made it and sewed it himself. It's so cool.

Finally we get to the panel. He says he's on at 3:30. It's about 2 right now.
"Wanna go buy some Merch? Or meet some people?"
"Oh shit! I need to see Taylor!"
"Oh yeah." He grabs my hand again and I blush.

I texted Tay and she said she was at the anime table. Of course. I asked her if she found Noble, and she said no. I smile and imagine her reaction when I give her Nobles number.

Chad and I walk over to the table. I immediately see Taylor.
"TAYLORRRRR!!" I howl. (Yes. You know what I mean.)
Chad lets me go and laughs. I hug Taylor and tell her I've got a surprise for her.
"What is it?"
I pull out my phone and dial Nobles number.
"I'm calling Noble right now."
Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped.
"YOU WHAT. EIN. WHAT. IM. WHAT." She continues freaking out, and noble picks up.
"Hey Noble."
"Oh. Hay Erin. Aren't you at pax too?"
Now, you're probably wondering. How the frick does Noble know me? Chad of course. He introduced me to his friends and sometimes we would play video games together.
"Yes I am, I'm with Chad. And I really want to introduce you to one of my friends. Her names Taylor."
*taylor screeches in the background*
"Oh sweet! I'd love to. Where are you guys at?"
"The anime table."
*taylor screeches again*
"Sweet I'll be right over to meet this..special friend of yours." He laughs and I hang up. I look to Taylor. "He's on his way over here."
She hugs me and thanks me. I mean, what are best friends for?
Chad laughs and takes my hand again. I blush and Taylor looks down at it.
"Oh. Are you two..like?? A thing???" Tay asks.
He lets go of my hand. We both blush really hard.
"Uhhhh no." I say.  There was an awkward silence for a minute. Chad turns around to talk to a fan and take a picture.
Tay and I are sitting and waiting for Noble.
"You know," Tay says to me. " I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure Chad really likes you."
"I know." I sigh. "I really like him too, but I don't know how to move forward.."
"I'm sure it'll work out-OH MY GOD." Tay squeals.
Noble has arrived.
