DISCLAIMER! DISCLAIMER! THERE'S A LOT OF TOOTING MY OWN HORN HERE *tootatoot* BECAUSE I DON'T IRL

Alright, with that outta da way... here's what that last chapter was about (almost a week later, but whatever. Y'all should be used to my laziness by now):

I've always been a singer. I just love to sing. And I don't mean to brag, but I do a pretty dame good job.

You know how most middle school choirs are shiz? Well, mine could sing in two parts in sixth (MOST HADN'T BEEN IN CHOIR EVER) and three parts in the second week of seventh. We had almost all of our first convert songs mastered by the second month of school! (We had like six, just with the seventh+eighth grade) We can, as of now, sing in four parts.

At LGPE, when we were practicing, they had to check the schedule because they thought we were a college choir.

We're super fast learners, and when we're tired, we persevere and sing brilliantly anyway. Our director has called us (us meaning the seventh grade choir) the best choir he's heard, EVER. And he was a music major in college, sooo...

We always have great vowels, we can sing anything you throw pur way, and we're pretty great at sight-singing.

So... our last concert of the year was Tuesday. It went off without a hitch.

Order of Events, AS THEY HAPPENED. ALL SONGS ARE IN ORDER AS WELL (EVEN THE ONES IN PARENTHESIS)

•Sixth Grade sang four songs ("Ching-a-Ring Chaw", "I Bought Me A Cat", "Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child", "ABC"
•Seventh and Eighth Grade stood, and waited in the hall (my poor toe got crushed. I hope nobody heard my, "shit!")
•Director Introduced "Sounds of a Better World" Collection by Jim Papoulis
•Sixth Grade sang one song out of that ("When I Close My Eyes")
•The lights went down and Sixth exited the stage to go back to their seats
•The girls from seventh and eighth boarded the risers (I'm at the very end of the left (right if your looking at the choir) side of the back row, so I always stick out)
•We sang "Give Us Hope"
•The boys boarded the risers
•The boys sang "Set Me As A Seal Upon Your Heart" (not part of the collection but it fit so that's okay)
•We, as a whole choir, sang "Can You Hear"
•The collection was finished
•The Seventh and Eighth Grade sang "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel" and "Pie Jesu"
•Eighth exited the stage
•Seventh sang "Livin' On A Prayer" (we got to dab at le end! I hit my friend in the face, but that's okay because she said so and she was laughing the whole time)
•Seventh moved outta da way so Eighth could sing "Go The Distance"
•Awards were presented
•Seventh and Eighth grade sang "Lift Up Your Voice"
•The whole choir sang "Why We Sing" (This year, our director said that the choir would sing it every year. The first year was also my first year in the middle school choir (last year), so yay! (I was in the choir in elementary, of course)

Yeah. That's why I was so rushed. Doz chuz forgeeve mii?
