Chapter 3

Fear struck against me. I was all alone and it was getting dark.

What was Kakashi thinking about leaving a girl who never been outside here before to get home by herself? He must be insane for leaving me alone. I walked through the now deserted town as I try to look for home.

“Kai” Ryo called. I paused my walking.

‘Yeah’

“Use your senses” he said. I raised an eyebrow.

My senses! What’s that supposed to mean?

“Concentrate” he said.

I sigh but listen to him. Closing my eyes I concentrate on my home.

I open my eyes once I got a key point on how to get there. I’m surprise it worked but I could always trust on Ryo.

I walked in that direction. About a few feet away I saw the apartment complex in view. I immediately picked up my feet and ran towards the door. Once entering I went up the stairs and walked up the stairs to my apartment opening the door I walked in and slammed the door.

Kakashi looked up from his book and smiled underneath his mask and waved.

“Welcome home! How was it?” He asked.

He did that on purpose. I glared at him before walking up to him and grabbing the book out his grasp. His eyes widen and he gasped.

“You left me alone” I stated.

“Give it back! I haven’t finished it” he demanded.

I darkened my glare at him and turned away from him and into my room where I locked the door and hid the book secretly.

“Kai give it back!” he yelled through the door.

“No you’ll get it back soon” I said. I heard him sigh and turned away. I change clothes and lay in bed. I’m too tired I’ll just take a shower in the morning.

The sun shining through the window in my room made my room warmer. My head rested against my hand I look out the window as warmth come to my face. My wet hair is slowly drying now. I look into the sky where you can see the sun starting to rise.

It was about 7 in the morning. Kakashi woke up late like always. Since he was mad because I didn’t give him his book back yet I can’t go with him. So I’m going to be with the Hokage today. That and it’s time for my weekly check-ups.

You see, since my demon is highly dangerous and close on the verge of being unsealed from my stomach I have to get weekly check-ups. Since I have never been outside the Hokage would come over or Kakashi would ‘poof’ us to the Hokage’s office.

So you could say I’ve been out of the house but never outside. It’s kind of sad if you think about it.

Whatever, I’m waiting for Kakashi if he’s ever ready. I have the book right here.

Finally getting irritated I got up and walked out. Once seeing Kakashi on the couch I threw the book on his lap. His eyes lightened when the book came into his view. He stood up and immediately read the book.

“Good morning, Kai” he greeted happily. I grunted and turn around towards the door. Opening the door Kakashi and I walked out and locked it before walking down the hall.

Opening the door to the Hokage’s Office a smile was on his face with the sight of me.

“Good morning Kai” he greeted. I waved at him. Kakashi-san waved as well and bowed before walking out. I turned to the Hokage and walk over to him.

Then my check-up begins.
