Chapter 7

Since the Chuunin Exams, Konoha has been strongly infected by it. Due to the fight with Orochimaru and the Hokage, the Hokage has died. This left the village filled with sorrow.

The village was filled with rain as the village gathered for the funeral. Each person laid a flower and remembers the memories they shared with him.

As the funeral was ending the rain died down. People walked away.

Kakashi sat down on the couch at home. He was soon about to leave to go see Kai in the hospital. He’s been in deep thought lately.

“What does anyone want with Kai?” that question has been stuck in his head.

He knows about the demon in of Kai, but what does the demon have to do with anything? He promises after seeing Kai he will have to find about that demon.

Kakashi stood up and walked to the door. Just as he opened it a pull on his leg stopped him. He looks down and sees Mao tugging at his pants. His big eyes pleaded at Kakashi to take him with.

Kakashi sighed, “Fine, you can come.”

Mao jumps up and Kakashi’s shoulder. Kakashi raised a brow, but shrugged and left.

Sasuke sat in Kai’s hospital room.  He stared at her for the longest time, thinking.

“What should I say if she wakes up?”

“Will she even wake up?”

He shook that thought away. Of course she will wake up. She has too. He stood up from his spot and walked to the door. Before he opened it he heard footsteps and the familiar presence of Kakashi-sensei. He ran over to the window and opened it and quickly jumped out.

Kakashi opened the door to Kai’s room and Mao pounced off him and onto Kai’s bed. He lay on her stomach and stared at her, waiting. He’s waiting to see her open her eyes.

Kakashi looked at the open window and walked over. He looked out and glances around and then closed it. He walked back over and sat down. Mao was snuggling on her stomach. He closes his eyes, sleeping.

Kakashi let out a sigh and looked at Kai. Then he stared at her stomach where Mao is.

“I need answers.”

I’m so sorry I posted late. I just been so busy lately that I don’t have time to work on it. I’m terribly sorry that this is so SHORT! I just want to post something up for guys. Also this chapter is so boring. Next chapter will have something go on. Promise! J
