Chapter 4

I looked out the window and let out a long sigh. It’s been a few days since my check up and when Kakashi-san and his students left on their mission. Hokage said that my seal is loosening but slower than usual, which is good.

Though I can say that’s better than what happen during the past few days. While Kakashi has been gone my physical appearance has been… changing. Not like a normal way. My eyes look more cat-like. My teeth are sharper, more like fangs.

 I kind of look like an animal, yet I like the new look. It suits me…

I have no idea what goings on but I need to ask somebody. Suddenly a tap on the window lose me from my thoughts. I turn around and see a tiger cub on the window sill. I raised a brow and walk over. I open the window and the cub leaps in. I glance as the cat landed on the couch and looked at me. It tilted its head to the side as did I.

What the…

It’s quite cute actually. A ghost smile appeared on my lips and I walked over to the animal. Immediately it lay in my laps as I sat down on the couch. I gently pet it and touch its ear. It’s so adorable…

I decided to keep the cub. After all it came to my house. I picked him up and walked over to the window. As I got to the window his claws pierced my skin a little. I looked down at him.

“It’s okay, I’m not kicking you out” I whispered. His grip loosened and I closed the window. I turned around and walked to my room.

I laid him on the bed and looked at him.

“What to name you…” I thought for a moment. A smile came to my face. “Your name is Mao.”

Mao stared at me. His cat eyes stared at mine. I looked away and down at my arm. Cuts from Mao’s claws had blood starting to ooze out. I look at Mao who now looked at my cuts. I sat down next him and showed him the cuts.

“This is what you did to me…” Mao suddenly licked the blood. I was slightly surprised at what he did. I didn’t expect this. I continued to let him lick my blood.

A closing of a door woke me from my sleep. I lazily open my eyes and see Kakashi at my bedroom door. He smiled under his mask and walk over here.

“Hello” he greeted. I slowly sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes. I looked out the window and see the moon out. I turn back to Kakashi who looked at Mao right next to me.

“Where did this come from?” he asked. I look at Mao and lightly pet his head.

“He was on the window sill” I said. I gently picked Mao up and he let out a yawn.

“Isn’t he cute?” I bluntly said and leveled Mao’s small form to Kakashi’s face.

Kakashi nodded his head. He walked out and I soon followed behind while caressing Mao in my arms. Once entering the living room Kakashi sat down and took out “Make out Paradise.”

“Kakashi-san” He glanced up at me and raised an eyebrow. “Don’t you notice anything different about me?”

Kakashi finally examined me. “What’s with your sudden appearance?”

I shrugged. “I woke up this morning like this”

Kakashi was in deep thought. “It might have to do with your demon.”

I nodded my head. “Maybe it’s a transformation buildup”

Kakashi nodded his head. “Well, the Hokage said that the seal is loosening much slower so I don’t know what’s going.”

I shrugged. “I guess. It doesn’t affect my way of thinking or acting.”

Kakashi nodded. “Alright for now it doesn’t seem any problem. If is does has any problems let me know.”

I nodded my head walked back to my room. Kakashi always acted like a father I guess you can say. He always cared about me and is always protective. Sometimes I think of him more as an older brother instead.

Lying down on my bed I laid Mao right next to me. He instantly cuddles up next to me. I lightly hold him and close my eyes.

A quiet yawn escaped my lips as I walked with Kakashi-san and his team. They were doing tons of small missions today and Kakashi wanted to bring me with him. 

I looked down at Mao who was caress in my arms. I wanted to bring him along with us. I love Mao even more when he almost bit Sakura. Though it was kind to Naruto and liked Sasuke. I was slightly annoyed by it. 

So, Kakashi and his team were currently walking dogs. Naruto being the idiot he is wanted the big dog. The big dog pulled him into a large mine field and Naruto exploded. Well, sort of...

"I'm going to go report the mission to the Hokage. We are done for today." he walked away leaving me behind. 

I looked down at Mao and started petting him. I walked away from the group and wondered around for a little. Suddenly Mao leaped from my arms and started running in the direction we came from. I quickly chase after him.

'What's wrong with him?!'

Soon I see Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. Three other kids were there too and three other ninjas. Mao ran towards Naruto and leap onto the back of him. Naruto nearly screamed but stopped when he realized who it was. Naruto turned around and smiles when he sees me.

“Hey Kai!” he greeted. I walked over to him and Pulled Mao away from him.

“Sorry” I mumbled quietly. I glance over and the three ninjas in front of me. One of them had red hair and really light green eyes. He has a tattoo, I guess, on his forehead. He eyes star intensely at me. I stare back at his with a blank look.

I look down at Mao who was now licking my hand. I look back up and see the three ninjas leaving.

“Hey you!” Sasuke called back.

“Me?” the girl said. She had blonde hair in four pigtails.

“The one with the gourd on his back” the guy looked back at Sasuke.

“Gaara, who are you?” Sasuke smirked. “Sasuke.”

Gaara stared at me one last time before turning around and walking away. The two other ninjas followed behind him. I raised a brow, confused.

That’s Chapter 4. Oh yes, my mind is filled with ideas for the next chapter and the next. I really sorry for how long it took to post this chapter.  School has me crammed and I’ve been really stressed lately. d:

This is actually one of the longest chapters I have posted. I hope I can keep posting like this and maybe more!
