Crimson Eyes [Sasuke Uchiha] 11

Chapter 11

3rd POV

Kakashi and Daichi left Kai after she woke up to give her some time to herself. She sat up in bed with Mao on her lap. She was in deep thought as she gently pets his head. Somehow her mind just couldn’t grasp this new fact.

She has a brother, an older brother, who has been training for years to come look for her. She couldn’t believe it. Someone actually cared for her, but why? Why did he care for her? That was something she didn’t understand. If her parents just dropped her, why didn’t he just forget about her and live his life. None of this made any sense, she thought.

“He shouldn’t care about me. After all, I am a monster” she mumbled to herself. Mao’s bright red orbs looked up at her. He sat up and looked at her in her eyes. Kai looked back. Mao came to her cheek and simply licked her cheek. Kai let a small smile come to her lips and she kisses his head. Kai laid back down in bed and looked up at the plain white ceiling while Mao cuddled on her lap again.

Her mind wandered to what happen back there before she fell unconscious. She then wandered how she even got there.

Kai’ was feeling better and was allowed to walk around her floor for a while so it one of her days when she strolled around with Mao beside her. She watched the nurses pass by asking her if she was alright or if she needed anything. She quickly shook her head at them and continued walking.

She walked down a way where no one was around. She felt like she shouldn’t be here but she ignored it and continued to walk.

It was then that she heard footsteps behind her, but she decided to ignore it and keep walking. Then she reached a dead end and turned around to walk back, but she met blue instead. Everything happened so quickly. She was knocked out and placed on the blue figure in a matter of seconds.

When she woke up again she felt pain in her stomach. She coughed hoarsely and saw a little blood come out. She looked up and noticed Sasuke. Her vision saw black spots before she saw all black.

The only thing she could remember was seeing Sasuke’s condition.

Her red orbs were fixed on the figure in the other bed next to her. She looked up at his face.

“Sasuke…” she trailed off quietly. She slowly got up out if bed and to his bed. She looked down at him. Somehow, she felt a pang in her heart and her eyes turned worried.

Is he okay, she thought? She couldn’t help but feel worried about what happen to someone she called a friend. She reached to grab his hand and softly caress it with her thumb. She looked up at his face.

“I hope your fine” she said to him. She leans in and kisses his cheek. Small butterflies came into her stomach and she pulled away blushing.

“Thanks for everything” she says then let’s go and goes back to her bed. She lies on her side and looks out the window. She smiles and closes her eyes, falling into the world of dreams.

Kai lies down on the soft grass, her eyes looking up at the blue sky. She watches the clouds go by and makes figures out of each in her mind. She notices a presence beside her and turns to see who and meets onyx eyes.

“Hey Sasuke” she greets. He nods his head. She admits that she enjoys his presence, and the comfortable silence was always nice. Just like what they’re having now.

She admits that she think he’s attractive. He’s also strong and smart. She glances at him through the corner of her eyes. His eyes are closed. Small butterflies formed into her belly.

She doesn’t know what it is but she likes the feeling. She looks away and back to the sky.

Suddenly the sky turns dark. Her eyes widen she turns to look at Sasuke, but it wasn’t him.

A man with long dark hair looked at her. Her eyes widen.

Not him again, she thought. She quickly gets up to leave  but he grabs her and pulls her to him.

“You’re not going anywhere.”
