Chapter 7

Evening came and Anthony and Johanna were taking a walk around the park. "Nell, when do I tell Johanna that I'm her father?" Sweeney asked. "Whenever your ready love." Nellie answered whilst Sweeney pulled her into his chest. "How will I know when I'm ready?" Sweeney asked. "When you feel the time is right dear." Nellie answered. Sweeney kissed Nellie on the forehead.

Later Anthony and Johanna came back from their walk. "Are you two ready to go?" Nellie asked. Anthony and Johanna nodded. "Alright, Toby!" Nellie called. Toby came rushing over to the group. Toby yawned. "Tired my love?" Nellie asked. Toby nodded rubbing his eyes. Nellie kissed Toby on the forehead and held his hand. "Don't worry love, you can go to bed as soon as we get home." Nellie said. Toby smiled and nodded. Toby was so sleepy he didn't look where he was going. Then he fell. "Ow!" A sweet girly voice said. "Oh no! Johanna did I trip over you?!" Toby asked panicking. "Wot do ya mean? I'm not Johanna, my name is Samantha." The girl said. "Oh, I'm sorry Samantha, I was tired I didn't mean-" "It's alright. Wot's your name?" Samantha asked. "Tobias Lovett Toby for short." Toby answered. "I like that name." Samantha said causing Toby to blush. Nellie smiled wide. "Well, I'll be seeing you Toby, goodnight." Samantha said. "Goodnight." Toby said. Nellie gave Toby a playful smirk. "Does my little boy love someone?" Nellie teased. Toby blushed and just went ahead of the group. "I'm just teasin' love!" Nellie called. Toby couldn't resist coming back and hugging his mum tightly around her waist.

"I know." Said Toby. Nellie smiled sweetly at him and ruffled his hair. "Good, now let's go home." Nellie said.

Once everyone got back to the pie shop it was bed time. Everyone said their good nights and headed off to bed. "So, love, do you feel your ready to talk to Johanna?" Nellie asked. "I believe so, I plan to tell her at breakfast, or maybe after." Sweeney answered. "Oh, that's great!" Nellie said. "I hope she'll take it alright." Said Sweeney. "I wish you the best my love." Nellie said kissing Sweeney's cheek and cuddling up into his chest. Sweeney pulled her closer into him.

"Nell?" Sweeney asked. "Yes?" Nellie replied. "Will you sit with me when I talk to Johanna tomorrow? I'll feel more comfortable with you." Sweeney said. Nellie smiled sweetly up at him. "Of course." Nellie answered. Sweeney pulled Nellie close and kissed her passionately on the lips. "Love has changed me Nell." Sweeney said. "Wot do ya mean?" Nellie asked. "You've changed me sweetheart." Sweeney answered. Nellie could only smile sweetly at him and embrace him tightly. "I'm glad I did, you were going to lose your marbles one of these days." Nellie said. Sweeney laughed. "You'd love me anyway." Sweeney said with a smile. Nellie chuckled. "Of course I would." Nellie said and kissed Sweeney's cheek.

No matter what, Nellie still adored the dark character that Sweeney possessed. But she's glad that he's changed now. Hopefully he won't kill anymore now that Turpin and Beadle are gone and that she's in his life. Nellie had grown tired of Sweeney killing. He never focused on her and now that the judge is gone, he did.

The next morning Sweeney woke up earlier than usual. He couldn't sleep last night though the fact that Nellie was in his arms helped. Sweeney went out to the pie shop to see a cheerful Johanna and Nellie making breakfast. "It's about time the boys wake up and eat everything in me house." Nelken said smirking. Sweeney laughed.

"Anthony and Toby my dear." Sweeney said. Nellie chuckled. "Your right." She said.

Toby and Anthony were up and of course ready to eat. "Now save some for the women of the house." Nellie said catching Toby's eye on the pancakes. Toy couldn't help but smirk.

"Johanna?" Sweeney asked. "Yes?" Johanna whispered in a reply. "C-can we talk?" Sweeney asked. Look at Nellie she nodded and gave a reassuring smile. She put his hand in hers for she knew what was to come. "You do know judge Turpin?"Sweeney asked. Johanna scoffed. "How could I ever forget?" She asked. Sweeney shrugged. "Well, I knew him to. He,....he took me away from you and Lucy." Sweeney said. Johanna liked at Sweeney in confusion. "What do you mean? And who's Lucy?" Johanna asked. "Lucy was your mother." Sweeney answered. "Oh...where you two friends?" Johanna asked. "Yes, but she was my wife. That vulture of a judge wanted him for himself, and he put me in prison for no reason. I didn't commit any crime what so ever. Then you were just a baby my little dove." Sweeney said stroking her face. Johanna could feel tears coming down her face. "If you all will excuse me." Johanna said. Nellie couldn't help but follow her. She could here crying coming from the guest room. Anthony followed to. "Oh love, please don't cry." Nellie said embracing Johanna. "I-c-can't help it." Johanna whispered. "I know, and you can take all the time you need to let it all out." Nellie said. Johanna nodded while Anthony pulled her into an embrace.

"Thank you both." Johanna whispered. "Of course love." Nellie said. Johanna sweetly smiled at Nellie. Nellie returned the smile then left.

Dinner came and Nellie had some left over meat pies from the evening rush 2 days ago. Toby of course LOVED the meat pies Nellie Lovett baked. Toby decided to have one for dinner. Johanna and Sweeney were out on a walk and Anthony was looking at houses with a realtor so Nellie and Toby had the shop to themselves for the night.

Toby took a bite into the pie. "This is delicious mum." Toby said. "Thank you dear." Nellie replied. Toby felt something weird in his mouth. Plump? Large? What is is?

He wiggled it in his mouth and took it out. Nellie's heart was racing for she could feel in her bones what was to come next. "Mum, wot is this?" Toby asked with a serious expression on his face. "Urm, maybe some scrunched up old bread." Nellie answered trying to hide what she does with the pies. "Mum, the bread has a fingernail. FINGERNAIL??!!!!!" Toby exclaimed in horror. Nellie was shaking nervously. "Mum?" Toby asked. "Yes?" Nellie asked nervously.

"I knew it. I knew Mr. Todd was slitting innocence throats b-but, y-you put them into pies??!!!" Toby exclaimed in horror. Nellie could feel tears coming in her eyes. "Mum, please... Answer me!!!" Toby exclaimed. "Y-yes." Nellie answered. Toby could only cry and shake his head. "Y-you really d-do that to innocent?" Toby asked. "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT??!!!" Nellie shouted. Toby could only cry. "Oh Toby-" "DONT TALK TO ME!!!" Toby exclaimed running out of the pie shop. Nellie cried and cried. "I prayed you would still love me." Nellie whispered. Nellie could only throw herself on to the table and cry.
