Chapter 13

2 weeks into the marriage Nellie and Sweeney couldn't be happier together. They had went on a honeymoon for 3 days while Johanna and Anthony watched Toby. Toby was exited for the two, despite Sweeney was once a killer, and Nellie baked you know what into her pies.But Nellie told Sweeney not to kill anymore, he's no need for it. If he did, Nellie would slit his throat.

"Sweeney, love, I opened a new bakery down the street, no meat, just cookies and cakes and pies. Not meat pies." Nellie said. "I'll open a barber shop next door." Sweeney said kissing Nellie's cheek. "Sweeney, I must speak to you privately." Nellie said. Sweeney put Nellie's hand in his and Nellie lead them up to their room. "Sweeney, I know it's only been two weeks, love but when I went to the doctor when we got back, I found out something." Nellie said. "Wot my pet?" Sweeney asked. Nellie took a deep breath and began to speak. "Sweeney, love, I'm pregnant." Nellie said. Sweeney's eyes widened and he started to smile. He sound Nellie around and kissed her passionately on the lips, and pulled her into an embrace. "I'm so happy." Sweeney said. "I'm glad your happy, I was worried about how you would take it." Nellie said.

"Nell, I want you to be happy." Sweeney said. Nellie smiled sweetly at him. "I know." Nellie said. "Good." Sweeney said. The married couple fell asleep with Sweeney's hand on Nellie's stomach.

The next day Nellie woke up to an empty spot on the bed. She put on her robe and went out to the kitchen. Sweeney was cooking. "Your cooking love?" Nellie asked. Sweeney looked at Nellie and took the finished pancakes off the stove. "Yes, we 'Abe to tell Toby my angel." Sweeney said.

"Wot do ya need to tell me?" Toby asked. Nellie put his hands in hers and led him to the living room. "Now love, come and sit next to me." Nellie said pulling him into her chest and stroking his hair. "Are you alright mum?" Toby asked. Nellie took a deep breath. "Toby, your going to have a little brother or sister." Nellie said smiling down at him. Toby couldn't help but let a wide smile spread across his face showing his teeth. Toby embraced Nellie. "I'm so happy for ya mum!" Toby exclaimed with joy.

"Thank you love." Nellie said kissing his forehead. "Why didn't ya tell me sooner?" Toby asked. "I didn't know 'ow you would take it." Nellie answered. "Oh mum! Don't ever think I'd be upset over these things!" Toby exclaimed. Nellie kissed his forehead. "Your a little angel my love." Nellie said. "Thank you mum." Sweeney said kissing her cheek.

Nellie rested her head on Sweeney's shoulder. "Are you alright Nell?" Sweeney asked. "Yes, love." Nellie answered. "Why?" "Can't a husband check on his wife?" Sweeney asked. "Yes he can." Nellie answered kissing Sweeney's cheek.

"Mum, may I go down to the sea?" Toby asked. "Yes love, in fact we'll all go!" Nellie exclaimed with joy. Sweeney rolled his eyes playfully for he knew Nellie would be dragging them down to the sea every chance she got. He also didn't want to leave her side for one second now that she was pregnant.

Nellie and Sweeney laid out a picnic blanket and set out some food. Nellie of course bought a novel of hers to enjoy. Sweeney couldn't help but smile at her focusing in her book. He thought it was adorable. Sweeney couldn't help but pull her into an embrace. Nellie smiled. She was a little tired so she shut her eyes. Sweeney kissed her head and let her head rest in his lap.

A few hours later Nellie woke up from her little nap. Sweeney smiled. Nellie returned the smile. "Sunset already?" Nellie asked. "I'm afraid so pet." Sweeney said. Nellie smiled. "Let's watch it." Nellie suggested. Sweeney nodded in agreement.

The two watched the sunset. "It was the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen." Sweeney said. Nellie kissed his cheek and yawned. "I'll carry you Nell, you should get some rest." Said Sweeney. Nellie laughed. "I'm only 2 weeks pregnant love." Nellie said. "I know, but a husband must look after his wife." Sweeney said pressing a sweet kiss to Nellie's lips. "I love you so much Mista T." Nellie said. "Still call me that?" Sweeney asked smirking playfully. "I won't stop." Nellie said laughing. Sweeney rolled his eyes playfully. Typical Nellie.

Sweeney opened the door to the house and sat Nellie down on the couch. He didn't want her to walk one inch unless it was from that couch. "I should get Toby to go to bed." Nellie said. "Where is the lad?" The door opened suddenly. "Sorry, I trailed behind." Said Toby. "T'is alright love." Nellie said. "T'is tour bedtime young man." Nellie said giving Toby a kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight mum." Toby said. "Goodnight love." Nellie said.

Nellie yawned again and shut her eyes. Sweeney carried her up to her room. They were just going to the sea so Nellie didn't feel the need to change out of her nighty. Sweeney tucked Nellie into bed and pulled her into his chest. "I love you so much my angel." Sweeney said pressing a sweet kiss to her lips. Sweeney smiled at the fact they were going to have a baby. He shut his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep.
