Nellie woke up with a huge smile on her face. She knew today was the day. She woke Sweeney up first, then her special little boy. She practically ran in and out of the shop to put their things in the coach. Toby and sandy exchanged looks of amusement for they loved Nellie's reaction. Toby thought it was funny, Sweeney thought it was adorable. "Alright loves, ready to go?!" Nellie asked with joy.
Both men giggled. "Yes." They both answered. Nellie beamed with excitement and grabbed both men's wrists and pulled them out to the coach. Nellie payed the coachmen. "where to ma'am?" The coachmen asked. "The sea sir." Nellie answered. "Ah, English Channel, good choice." The coachmen said smiling. The three got in the coach and the coachmen started off to the sea. The sea was pretty far from where they lived and the may not get their till nightfall. Nellie thought she would sleep to pass the time.
Later night fell and they had reached their destination. "Nell, wake up, we're here." Sweeney said excited to see her reaction. Nellie blinked her eyes open slowly and smiled wide. "This is wonderful." Nellie said with joy. "I knew you'd love it." Sweeney said giggling. Everyone unloaded their things. The house was an average house, but pretty big. Everyone went inside and it was beautiful. Their was a little mini hall at the door and their was a kitchen and living room on both sides. Forward was a dining room, and the door next to the pantry had a staircase leading up to the bedrooms. Their were 4 bedrooms which would be perfect for guests.
The biggest bedroom was at the end of the hall which Nellie and Sweeney got. Toby got the room next to theirs and the rest were for the guests. "Alright, I think we're all tired, let's go to bed." Nellie said. Both men agreed.
Sweeney took off his shirt and Nellie changed into her nighty and climbed into bed with Sweeney. "This is wonderful Sweeney." Nellie said smiling whilst cuddling into his chest. Sweeney wrapped his arms around her. "I knew you'd love it." Sweeney said. "We should go shoppin' tomorrow love." Nellie said. Sweeney agreed.
"Then all of us go explore the sea." Nellie said. Sweeney rolled his eyes playfully. Of course Nellie would make them do it. It be one of the first things she would have in that little head of hers. For that he can only smile and kiss his little baker goodnight. He was so happy she was happy. He rested his head on hers lovingly and shut his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.
-------------Sweeney woke up to an empty spot on the bed. He knew Nellie had woken up. She might have gone shopping already. Sweeney went downstairs to see no one their but Toby. "Where's Nellie?" Sweeney asked. "She went shoppin' should be back soon." Toby answered. Sweeney smiled and nodded.
Sweeney heard the door and turn around to see a happy Nellie with groceries. "Mornin' loves!" Nellie exclaimed with joy. "Good morning my love." Sweeney said holding he face with both hands and pressing a sweet kiss to her forehead.
"Nell, I've been thinking about plans for the wedding." Sweeney said. "Good! But nothin' big dear, we don't 'ave that much of family." Said Nellie. "Yes, would you like to book the church?" Sweeney asked. "I'd love to." Nellie answered hugging Sweeney. Toby could only smile at the park of them. He was never fond of Mr. Todd but seeing how happy he made his mum, he couldn't be happier for the park of them. "I'll put these groceries away later dears, I'm going to have a look." Nellie said smiling. The two men could tell she was containing her excitement as she walked out the door. Sweeney did the cuckoo sign and Toby couldn't help but laugh. "She hasn't lost all of the screws sir." Said Toby. Sweeney always knew there were screws missing from that little head of hers, but she could never lose all of them.
----------------While Nellie was exploring the sea she kept smiling and her eyes were gleaming the whole time. "It's so beautiful." Nellie said staring at the sea. Nellie thought she'd take a toe dip in the sea. She removed her shoes and stockings and went into the sea. The waves hit her legs like a fresh cup of tea.
Nellie stayed out their for about 2 hours until she felt Sweeney's hands on her shoulders. "Hello love." Nellie said pressing a sweet kiss to his lips. "Everyone's waiting for breakfast my angel." Sweeney said smiling. Nellie giggled a and led Sweeney back home.
"Is everyone ready for breakfast?" Nellie asked. Sweeney nodded, Toby of course smiled wide. Nellie made pancakes and sausage (people for of course). Everyone loved Nellie's cooking. Sweeney of course felt a little queasy considering the first pie of hers he had tried.
Night came and Nellie was relaxing outside in the rocking chair. Soon fell asleep. At about 9:00 Sweeney came out to check on her. He smiled sweetly at his little baker sleeping so peaceful. He carried her bridal style up to their room while he said his goodnights to Toby.
Sweeney continued to go upstairs and placed Nellie on the bed. He took out her hair pins letting her auburn hair lay down to her shoulders. He changed her into her nighty and hung up her blue and black dress and corset. He kissed her sweetly on the forehead goodnight and wrapped her up in their blankets and held her in his arms. Sweeney never thought he would love again. But now he had.
