Calum's POV

Calum you fuck up!
"Holiday fun" really? Really mate?
I really, genuinely did like Gia. She was so beautiful and her laugh was so sweet- anybody would be lucky to have her- and I fucked up all my chances. I was scared of the commitment- I've never had a serious girlfriend really. Just little flings and groupies, they're all nice and whatever, but Gia...
Gia was special- we actually had something, I mean we lived together for fucks sake
I let all of that go as soon as the words 'holiday fun' left my lips
If she didn't hate me before, she sure as hell hates me now
The words made her eyes bug out in shock and she looked like she wanted to punch something "Not everything is always about you, other people have feelings too!" She threw her arms up, looking exasperated
"Gia- I-" I was lost for words as she walked quickly away to her seat, leaving me with my mouth hanging open
She was right...
I hadn't cared about how she felt. That's just how it was, I only had sex with people- there were never any feelings involved in it. I suppose I thought it would be the same with her and I just let all of the real connection we had go

She sat in her seat facing the window, her music turned up drowning out all the noise of the airplane and the other passengers
"G-" I pleaded "Gia please? C'mon baby..." She reached up to her phone turning up the volume, her ears must be dying right now
"G- I'm sorry" I said sadly, knowing she couldn't hear me "I'm sorry for what I said- I'm so unbelievably sorry..."
I know you can't just say sorry and everything will be ok- what happened, happened. I just wish I could explain myself- I wanted her to just listen
