Calum's POV

Gia and I were due to appear on a morning radio show, so I was hurriedly getting up and throwing on a pair of dirty jeans and T shirt with a leather jacket
A very annoyed Gia was already downstairs waiting
I had slept through all 6 of my alarms, whereas she had been up since 6:00 getting ready
I rushed down the stairs "I'm here- I'm here"
"Let's go then" she rolled her eyes stalking down to the car

As we walked up to the radio station building I decided to give Gia some advice
She seemed a little taken aback by it all
"Just answer all the questions truthfully" she nodded "and if you don't want to answer a question, just don't answer it, or I can say something"
She looked up at me "thank you" she muttered "for last night too"
I nodded lightly "you're welcome-" ding
The elevator doors opened into a big glass room
"Calum! Gia! Come, sit, sit" we were motioned by a quite peppy man, who told us his name was Alex, to our seats in front of the microphones
I slipped on the headphones and motioned for Gia to do the same

"Hey guys welcome back to KISS FM Radio, I've got Calum Hood from 5 Seconds of Summer and his girlfriend Gia Costello in the studio- hey guys, how is it going?"
I gave him an easy smile "hey Alex- I'm good"
"I'm good, how are you?" Gia responded
"I'm doing quite well, thank you for asking" he smiled wide "so lets just jump right into it- Gia-" he started his question "how does it feel to be in the spotlight all the sudden?"

She gulped a little "well, I'm used to being around lots of people when I do shoots and things, but this- with all the crowds of fans and paparazzi is quite and experience" she nodded

"Calum-" he said turning to look up at the kiwi "-the rumors of you leaving the band have been all over the media lately- is it true? Are you planning on going solo?"

Gia's POV

Calum fervently shook his head "of course not!" He laughed like if was the most absurd thing he'd ever heard "I don't know where people get these stories from, but I am most definitely not leaving the band, not anytime soon" he smiled

"That's a relief for all you Calum girls out there" Alex laughed into the mic as Calum blushed "There's another rumor I need to put to rest, will the band be dropping a 3rd album? Is this true- is the band writing a new album?"

Calum nodded "well we've been working on some new songs lately in the studio" he turned the chair to face me, smiling "Gia can confirm- she has come with me to the studio a few times, but I have nothing to say at the moment about a 3rd album"
The way Calum talked so naturally to the interviewer amazed me. He was so smooth about everything, and the way he side stepped the question without even blinking. Off camera, off air he was just so strikingly different

Alex nodded "good, good. So- what the people really want to know, how did you two meet?"
I looked at him nervously, he gave me a reassuring smile
"We met during a photo shoot actually" He gave a fake laugh, trying to play up our meet cute situation
I nodded taking over "yea, I was just finishing up doing a shoot and Calum happened to be there doing a shoot in the same building and he just kind of asked me for my number I guess"
He nodded "it was really cute actually, Gia was all blushy and embarrassed"
"Love story of the century" I joked

Calum's POV

"Adorable you guys" Alex smiled "who made it official??"
Gia and I looked  at each other oh how little he knows, but Gia answered anyways "Calum..." I raised an eyebrow "he's a huge sap" she smirked at me "he was all teary and asked me to be his girlfriend over dinner and it was so sappy and cute"
I rolled my eyes at her stfu

"Well we've got some fan callers on the line- here's our first caller" Alex nodded
"Hi!" A chirpy girl called through the line "I'm Amber and I had a question for Gia- what's your favorite band?"
Gia thought about it for a second "I've got to say Panic! At The Disco- sorry Calum" she laughed
"Bye!" The girl called laughing

"Ok- we've got another one on the line" Alex said "hello?"
"Ahhh!" There was squeal "hello! I can't believe this is really happening, but um- I was just wondering, Calum? What's you're favorite thing about Gia?"
"Ooh that's a tough one" I cocked my head at at her, what is my favorite thing about her? "there's just so many to choose from" She blushed "I've got to say... her eyes" he paused, grinning at me "they're this beautiful kind of sea green and-" I said, zoning out for a second, staring at her "s- she's all around beautiful, but her eyes are finitely my favorite" I decided confidently
We took a few more calls and questions from Alex before he pressed a button, taking us off air "thank you two so much for coming in it was really great to meet you" he shook both of our hands "just before you two go I'd like to get a picture, is that alright?"
We obliged, snapping a few selfies before making our way back downstairs to the car

"So I'm a huge sap, huh?" I looked at her with a grin, my arm slung casually around her shoulder as we walked
"Oh yeah" she nodded "you were bawling when you asked me to be your girlfriend- honestly pretty cringey if I so say so myself" she teased
"Shut up" I shook my head, still grinning
