My Brave Soldier

Chapter one

A/N hey guys this is my second book, i thought as i have family that are in the army i thought id combined them with dan and phil and write another book,enjoy and i hope you guys like it)

*Phils Pov*

its has been 10 months since i last seen dan in real life,of course we skype and write each other letters and stuff but it wasnt the same as real life. It was coming to the end of the school day and i let the children out,i was a teacher who taught six grade, the children were around 11-12 and understood my marriage and they would always talk about dan and how he is a brave soldier and helping his country,i felt proud to call him my husband.

onces i got home i sat at my laptop marking some tests when skype went off,it was dan i stopped what i was doing and answered him.

"hey babes, how are you?" i asked him

"im good baby, just missing you so much",he replied i couldnt stop smiling.

"Any news on when you will be coming home its lonely here"I said with a puppy dog face.

"no not yet sweetie but i think soon, as ive been out here a while",he sounded so sad

"its okay babes i understand" i said back to him,we talked for hours but before he went someone rang him,he walked off the screen to talk i knew he was up to something,i could hardly make out the conversation, but i managed to pick up words like "i cant wait" and "he'll be so happy to have some one", he came back on to the screen with a big grin on his face

"someones happy, who was that?" i asked

"cant tell you its a surprise" he said,we talked for another hours,i looked over to the clock,1:00 am.

"babe i have to go its getting late and i have a class to teach tomorrow"i said with a sadness in my voice,god i hate time zones.

"its okay baby i understand,i have to go,duty calls,i love you so much my little lion"

"i love u too my little poo bear" and with that we ended the call and i slid down in our bed and drifted off the sleep thinking about the surprise he had for me.
