*Phils Pov*
we arrive at the hosptial and i get taken to dans room, as i walk in i see dan hooked up to all these hosptial stuff. then doctor soon walks in.
"Mr Lester?"he says
"yeah thats me what happened?"
"dan got shot in the head while off duty, but the good news is it didnt hit his brain only his skull,but we had to put him in a coma to reduse the risk of any more damage."
i take a minute to take everything in but then the doctor carries on,he puts out an xray annd puts in on the board.
"as you can see mr lester where the bullet hit, it smashed the back of the skull and a piece is pushing against his brain so by putting him in a coma it can heal normaly and cause he wont be moving it will heal a lot better. but i do have some bad news,as you know with comas they can last for a minimum of a month and on woulds, we are not sure how long dan will be in this coma theres no telling. im sorry mr lester.
and with that he left, after about half an hour mark walks in.
"hey phil"
"hi mark"
"did the doctors tell you what happened?"
"Yeah"
"did they tell u everything?"
"what do you mean everything"
"like where he was going when he was off duty and stuff"
"no they just told me he god shot while off duty"
"yes thats right but while me and him were off duty we were meant to stay in the doms cause the attakers were close but dan didnt listen he had to go to the office to speak with the head boss about quiting"
"wait dan wanted to quit?"
"yeah, he couldnt handle being away from you and jake and he want to quit and come home to start a proper family with you but when dan left to go speak to the boss one of the attakers followed him and shot him, it was lucky i followed him when he didnt listen but of course i didnt see the attaker and when i heard the gun shot and ran and carried dan back to the hosptial over there and they flew him back here"
