Chapter 5

*Phils Pov*

i didnt sleep much last night, jake would cry every hour,i finally drifted to sleep around 5:00am,it was nice jake had finally fallen asleep and i had too.

i woke up the next morning to an empty bed,i turn over to fine a note on the clock. it was from dan.

morning love

i know you were up all night with jake so i took him out to town with me so you could get some sleep text me when you get this and ill come home.

loves you lots and lots

i smile at the note and look at the time 14:15pm wow i slept a lot. i grab my phone and made my way to the living to text dan.

Phil:Morning baby, im awake now xx

Dan:okay love be home in 10 minutes,do you want mc donalds on the way home?xx

Phil: yes please you know what i have xx

Dan:Okay i wont be long xx

i put my phone on the coffee table and walk to the kitchen to get some coffee. i walk back to the living room and watch some TV,the time i finished my coffee dan is back with jake.

"hey baby need a hand?" i ask dan as he struggles to get the buggy through the door

"yes please babes" he says, i get up and walk to the door, i grab the food off him and put it on the table and the help dan get the buggy in. once we got it in,i walked to the kitchen to grab jakes high chair to put in the leaving room. once i done that i put jake in is high chair and lay his happy meal out in front of him, he starts smiling when he seen the chicken nuggets, god this kid could live off them.once jake had started eatting me and dan sat on the sofa to eat our meals.

10 minutes later we have all finished, well me and dan, most of jakes food was on his face or on the floor,god hes just like dan,after i clean jake up and clean the floor we all sit on the sofa and watch adventure time, one of jakes favourtie cartoons.after about an hour of adventure time jake started to fall asleep it was normal as it was 20:00pm by now,i pick jake up and walk to his room,i change him in to his PJs and rock him till he falls asleep,lucky enough it didnt take long and he was out like a light,i put him in his crib and put a blacket over him and went back to dan.

dan was curled up on the sofa with a blacket over him i jump in with him and he rest his head on my chest.

"Dan?"

"yeah phil?" 

"how did i end up so lucky?"

"what you mean babe?"

"how am i so lucky to have you and jake,nothing in my life has ever gone right but now it has"

"maybe its about time something good happens"

"i love you daniel lester"

"i love you more philip lester"

i kiss his cheek and we both fall asleep on the sofa cuddling in each others arms.
