You slept well that night, not dreaming of anything and sleeping straight through till morning. Loki, on the other hand, got little to no sleep at all.

He laid awake, staring at the ceiling, wishing he was anywhere but where he was. He didn't feel right. This place reminded him of falling into that worm hole so long ago. Being found by those monsters, and being mind controlled and forced to do their bidding.

He tossed and turned all night,  wishing you were by his side. He had grown fond of waking up by you.

Finally the sun started to come up and light shone through the windows. You opened your eyes sleepily and took in your surroundings. You were still in the Stark Tower.

You tossed the blankets back and figured you would go check on Loki. Make sure he wasn't getting himself into trouble. You walked through the door that connected your room quietly and found him sleeping.

Little did you know that this was the first bit of sleep he had gotten all night.  You walked stealthily over to his bed and slowly snuggled up into his side.

You missed having a warm body in your bed that night.  In his sleep, Loki reached out and put his arm around you, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck.

You sighed contently and closed your eyes. This was much better.

You couldn't tell how long you had been there exactly, but the sun was well awake now and Loki stirred at your side. You turned over in his arms and looked up at him. His eyes were barely open.

"Morning." He grumbled groggily. "Good morning." You replied cheerfully, rolling over ontop of him so he laid flat on his back and you straddled his waist.

You slowly, agonizingly slowly, leaned down and placed an extremely soft kiss on his lips. barely ghosting your mouth over his. You then rolled off of him suddenly and made your way to the bathroom.

He jerked himself quickly into a sitting position, now fully awake. "What was that?!" He asked you heatedly. You glanced over your shoulder at him with a sly smile playing on your lips.

"Nice to see you are good and awake." you said, before closing the door behind you. He laid back down on his back and breathed, "That girl is going to be the death of me."

You brushed out your hair and changed into come real clothes before you made your reappearance. Loki was up and fully dressed.

He looked over at you when you came out of the bathroom and came over to you, asking, "How long are we going to have to stay here?"

You frowned slightly and wondered why he didnt want to stay. You didn't have to deal with Tony that much and the Tower was beautiful.

"What's wrong?" You asked him, placing a hand on his shoulder and backing him into a chair. "It's nothing, really. It's just. . .bad memories," he explained, giving you a knowing look.

You made a 'tisk' noise with your mouth and said briskly, "say no more. I'll work on something, Loki, but for now I'm pretty sure we are stuck here for a while. . .at least until I can think of something to do with the SHIELD business and all."

He nodded. He understood, really he did. But it didn't make him any more comfortable with the situation. He brushed this off though. He knew you would think of something. You were a bit of a miracle in his eyes.

"Alright, love. Work your magic," he said smoothly, leaning in and giving you a fond kiss on your lips. You kissed him back and hummed slightly. "I'll fix this. . ."
