Lucas POV
I'm such an idiot I thought as she walked away. Why did I ever do that to her I wish I never started hanging out with those people in middle school or none of this would never have happened. Did I really cause her to have nightmares for eight years? As I walked to my car I'm such and freaking clueless idiot. I know who can tell me the truth but I may get a black eye for even showing up I hope this goes ok I thought as I drove to back to my office I ad to ask a favor from someone.

Riley's POV
I was on my way back from my meeting with Mr.akima when my Bluetooth in my car went off it was one of my investors I answer hello mrs.lane "hello Riley I'm here to say we have to cancel the meeting today. Three of the investors had an emergency come up so can we reschedule for next month" of course I look forward to seeing you next month I replied. "OK good bye Riley see you next month" by Mrs.lane I said before hanging up great I can go home and sleep until time to meet my parents for dinner.

I drove home I unlocked the door I walked in to find Maya pinning someone to the floor I walked closer and saw it was lucas what Is he doing here?

Maya's POV
I got out of bed and saw it was four o'clock I did sleep late I laughed to myself. I walked to the kitchen I grabbed a apple.

I looked on the counter from Riley she was saying that she had dinner with her parents and said I could come if I wanted I loved talking to Corey and topanga and I can't wait to see auggie. It Has been awhile since I last saw him I was thinking about what to wear when there was a knock on the door.

I opened the door and there stood huckleberry himself I felt anger rush through my body as memories of what he did to Riley and farkle. "Heeey maya" he said nervously. I grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him inside. You have some nerve coming here after what you did to Riley and farkle I said. I remembered all the times Riley cried after he did something to her or farkle. "I know I was a jerk and I tried to apologize to Riley but she wouldn't listen to me." Neither would I so now you can go before I make you. "Still quiet the tuff girl I see" he said smugly. That is when I lost it I grabbed his shoulder and pinned him down. I was about to give him a black eye when I heard the door open.

I saw Riley walk up to us and stare before saying"maya lucas what is going on and lucas why are you in our house" "I came to talk to maya but she attacked me" He said. After all you did this isn't half of what you deserve I said hitting him on the eye. "Ok maya get off him she said" I did as she said " now lucas what did you want." "I wanted to see if I really caused you to have nightmares for eight years." Yes you did she has them every night now go i said pushing him out the door I got him out and locked the door.

what happened today I asked getting off the couch" well he is my new investor Mr. Akima's assistant." oh ok but how did he know were we live I asked " he probably asked Mr. Akima " ok and we shold probably get ready for dinner riyels. "Yeah and dress nice we're going to Aphrodite's for dinner" oh fany I said in a high pitched British voice. " yeah yeah I wanted to take them somewhere nice now go get ready." She replied ok riyels I'm going I said walking to my room.

Riley's POV
Uh
Uggh he gets on my nerves I thought as I hopped in the shower why can't I just never see him again I mean god o don't like you I thought as memories flooded my mind o e stood out in particular.

I was walking to school excited to see lucas he had been in texas all summer so it was just me, maya, and farkle this summer. I walk into the hallway and I see people gathering around a row of lockers I walk up and see something I never thought I would see Lucas pushing farkle in a Locker.

I immediately pushed through the crowd and got behind Lucas and pushed him with all my strength. He turns to me a with a evil smile on his face that I've never seen I was scared of what he would do to me and farkle I was broke from my thoughts when he said "oh look who it is it's little insignificant Riley here to protect her friend how sweet" he said clutching his heart I motined for farkle to go hopefully to get my dad I said Lucas what are you doing this isn't the you I know. "Well get used to it cause this is the new me and your gonna like it" he said glaring at me. No I'm not gonna like it I don't know what happened to you this summer but all I know now is that all you are is a jerk. "You know it isn't not nice to talk to people like that" he said. No it is not nice to shove your friends in a locker. " Ok now your getting on my nerves why don't you go now" he said pushing me backwards. You know what Lucas you want to know something I guess this is the real you and you want to know what all I see is a jerk with a ego the size of Texas! I said boldly next thing I knew I felt something hit my head qnd falling on the floor before I blacked out.

I woke up in the nurses office I got up and slowly went to the mirror across the room I was shocked by what I saw. I had a black eye and a bruise on my forehead I lifted my hands to touch them but I felt a sharp pain in my shoulders. I pulled my shirt down a little and saw two bruises the size of a golf ball on both of my shoulders. What happened I whispered I was deep in thought when I heard the door open behind Me. I turned and saw my dad. the nurse, Maya and farkle what happened I asked. "He hit you on the head with a book and when you fell he got on top of you and punced you on the eye then he picked yoi up and pinned you to a locker which is how you got those bruises on your shoulders" answers Maya. "Honey are you all right I can't believe he did that I'm glad farkle came and got me or who knows what else he would have done to you." Said my dad yeah I'm fine just sore "Riley thank you for standing up for me like that but I wish you hadn't got hurt because of it" farkle said hugging me. It is fine farkle it is nothing but what happened to Lucas? "He got suspended for two weeks" said my dad "but not before I gave him two black eyes " said Maya smiling triumphantly. Thank you maya I figured you would do that I said happy that it was over but I didn't know that was only the beginning of my tourture.

I shuddered at the memory of that day I never thought he would hurt me. I just thought over all that he did to me while I was getting ready and to beluvr I ever had a crush on him it seems stupid now. " hey Riley ready to go yet" yeah I called back to Maya I just hope I won't have to see him again for a long time I thought as I got into my car with Maya.
