Riley's pov
huu I moaned as I starched getting up off the couch well that was fun I thought walking over to the coffee pot. "riley you up" groaned Maya yeah I'm in the kitchen I called putting some cream in my coffee. " so what you going to do today" I don't have anything today I replied why do you ask? "I was just wondering if you could go et me some paint and canvas I wanted to stay home and clean up and cook dinner." yeah I don't mind I need to go to the mall and get me a new suit for my trip coming up. I replied im going to go to get dressed I told her before turning and putting my mug in the sink. " ok ill fix me a toasted croissant you want one?" she asked. Yeah sure thanks I called heading to my room I showered and dried my hair and brushed it then I put on some blue jeans and a lihht pink crop top with R5 wich is my favorite band on it. I looked in the mirror and went back to the kitchen to eat my breakfast I Sat next to Maya who was sitting at the bar eating do we need anything else while I'm gone I asked. " uhhh can you get some milk, pomegranates and eggs?" She asked. Yeah I said finishing my croissant well I should get going I said getting up and grabbing my keys. " see ya later riyels." Maya called as i was opening the door. Bye I called back before going to my car. I got in and drove to the mall so I need a suit I thought walking into new york and co. I shopped in there about thirty minutes before finding a white pencil skirt and a lavender colored top perfect I thought heading to the check out. I payed and headed to the craft store in the mall I went in and got Maya her favorite brand of paint and got her afew canvases I checked out and left the mall I got a text from Maya asking me to get her some mushrooms and that she needed them for dinner what could she be cooking I thought walking into the grocery store.

Maya pov
It is 10:30 he should be here any minute I thought as I was cooking some cookies. I was deep in thought when I get somthing on my shoulder I quickly turned to find farkle at least I think it's farkle. " Maya you gonna say hello to me" farkle is that you I said surprised at how he looked he was in a nice gray suit but I could tell he was muscular his hair was in a quiff he had alittle bit of a beard and he looked like he was about six five wich is almost a foot taller than me. " Yeah Maya it is me." He said I smiled and hugged him I missed you farkle I said " I missed you to maya." He said hugging me back. You look so different I said " yeah I do I started working out after college and you look gorgeous as always." Yep you are deffinetly farkle I said smirking. " yeah just better looking now." He said smiling " so how is Riley?" He asked she is gone but Lucas is back and he asked her out and thought she would agree to it after everything he did to you and her. " yeah well if he bothers her while im here he is gonna get it. Im stil trying to figure out what happened to him and why he hurt riley I mean me I understand I was a nerd. But her she was perfect and he caused her so much pain and made her so unhappy . Why her why couldn't it have been just me what did she do to deserve that?" He said tearing up I don't know what happened to him, but you can be so hard on yourself either you were the one who stood up for her when I wasn't there . You were the one who helped her up if I couldn't you were a real friend to her so don't be so hard on yourself. I said hugging him " thanks Maya." No problem now I'll show you your room and you can go Change if you want I said " ok that sound good I only wore this monkey suit cause I had a meeting before I got here." Ok well here it is I said stoping in front of his room wich was between mine and rileys. She should be back soon so don't be to long I said " ok I won't. " he replied smirking ok then I better go get my cookies out I said turning back and walking toward the kitchen. I wonder if rileys almost done i thoughtas I took the cookies out of the oven.

Riley pov
Thank you I said to the ladyat the check out in the grocery store. " hey fancy seeing you here." I heard from behind me no I know that voice and the person behind me it belongs to. Why I thought and just walked on screaming don't follow me in my head. " Riley please wait i just need to tell you something." Ugh he won't give up I thought before finnaly stoping what lucas? I said in a very annoyed tone. " I am just here to earn you about Derek he isn't as good as you think he is a real jerk." Oh I see so like you, yeah my best freind from college isn't who I think he is after knowing for two years I said sarcastically. " he is he used to get me into so much trouble and caused one of my old girlfriend's to break up with me so yeah and i knew him for five years before moving to NYC." Well guess what lucas I don't care he could never do anything worse than what you did to me so if you don't mind I'm going home so bye I said walking out quickly so he would be able to stop me again. Uggh why is he so annoying. I thought as i finshed putting the groceries in the car and getting in the front seat of my car and driving back home. Maya in home I called walking in with an arm full of groceries I sat them on the counter and went to find Maya I walked in the living room to see her talking to some guy Maya who is this i said confused " Riley it's me farkle." He said farkle is that realy you you look so different girks said supriesed " yeah it is me I promise." He said finnaly realizing it was farkel I ran over to him and hugged him I missed you farkle I said happily " I missed you to rileys you look great just like the last time I saw you." He said hugging me back Well I am absolutely sure it is you now I said jokingly. Knock knock ugh who could that be I said let ing go of him I'll get it I said. I opend the door and I felt myself heat up with anger Lucas what I'm the world are you doing here! I shouted hoping farkle and Maya would heat me I heard some one hug me from behind I looked back to it was farkle " who is this?" asked Lucas." It's me farkle and i can see you haven't changed. still harassing Riley I see." He replied " hmm you've changed alot yourself I see you look no where near much of a nerd as you used to." Lucas said smirking " well you no what as loveley as this conversation has been I'm gonna have to do this." he said pushing the door closed and locking it. Thanks for helping farkle I said turning around and facing him " any time Riley I'll always be there for you." He said hugging me " I just wish I could have protected you more in middle school. I was so pathetic and weak I couldn't even help you half the time I'm so sorry it all my fault." He said tearing up and hugging me thighter. Farkel it was not your fault it wasn't youpicking in me it was Lucas and you couldn't help me half the time because he would hurt you first and it was always way worse for you so don't hate yourself for it. " THanks Riley that helps me alot. Now how about we all watch a movie." he said with a huge smile even though there were still tears in his eyes. That sounds great I said taking his hand and walking toward the living room. We spent the rest of the night talking and watching movies I am so glad he is here i thought as we were watching a movie.
