"This is practically kidnapping you know!" I yelled as Logan hauls me onto his shoulder carefully trying not to hurt my ribs. And grab all of my stuff.
"Yeah but you're not going to come willingly anyways." He said walking down the hospital greeting people as they pass by. They're probably looking at us weirdly.
"So? Doesn't mean you can carry me on your shoulder when you feel like it!" I said throwing my hands up in the air. An old couple walks by and I smile and wave as they warmly smile back. Aww they're so cute.
"I can do whatever I want." He said childishly. I roll my eyes as he sign me out and head towards the exit.
"God you're such a kid." I muttered.
"I'm not a kid." He said and walks towards his car. Throwing all of my stuff in the backseat.
"Yeah whatever. Can you put me down now?" I asked as I prop my elbow on his back.
He sighs but puts me down on my feet holding my waist carefully. I get into the passenger seat and he walks towards the other side and get into the drivers seat.
"So how's Gabe?" I asked. Since I was in the hospital I couldn't take care of Gabe, so Logan decided to take care of him. Most of Gabe's and my stuff are in my house but Logan won't let me go there alone so we're going there after we pick up Gabe.
"Good, he showed me all of his Pokemon collection."
"Really? He must really trust you then." I muttered, we arrive at the elementary school and Gabe immediately gets in giving me a hug as soon as he sees me.
"How was school?" I asked.
"Good, the new girl is really pretty." He said really excited.
"Oooh does my little bro have a crush?" I said teasingly and I laugh as his cheeks turns pink. I turn back to Logan who's smiling widely at both of us.
"So is your mom really okay with me and Gabe staying at your house?" I asked.
"She's fine with it. Stop worrying so much, besides mom is going on a business trip till April. She's actually really excited to meet you."
"Really?"
"Yes really. We're here." He said as he parks his car in the garage. Gabe hops out as I slowly make my way out. Logan grabs all of my stuff and hauls me onto his shoulder again. I roll my eyes as he struggle to get his keys to his house.
"Welcome to my humble home." He said as he finally opens the door. He sets me down on my feet and spread his arms gesturing to the house.
"I've already seen your humble home. No need to get excited." I said as I try to get my stuff from him. Trying isn't enough apparently. Gabe already have plopped down on the couch doing his homework.
"Aren't you going to give me my stuff?" I asked as I try to get my stuff again, he moves his hands up in the air so I can't get them as I frown.
"Nope I'm going to show your room first." He said walking down the hallway, me trailing behind him.
"Fine." I said as he finally stops at a room. He opens the room and I step in and the first word I think is. Neat. The room has white walls with just a double bed in the middle. There's a walking closet to the right when I walk in and a bathroom to the left.
"Sorry, we haven't got to decorate it yet." He said as he scratch the back of his neck.
"It's all right, beside it's just temporary anyways." As soon as I said this I see a flicker of emotion in his eyes. Before I can catch what it was it goes away and he looks deep in thoughts.
"Yeah just temporary. I'm going to go get yours and Gabe's stuff from your house. I'll be right back." He said distractedly. He turns around to leave but I catch his arm before he can.
"I'm going with you."
"No you're not." He said determinedly.
"Yes I am. You don't know where my stuff is. And besides I bet you don't want to see my underwear anyways."
"Oh right." He said embarrassingly. His cheek turning into a slight shade of pink.
"Aww you're blushing." I said as I pinch his cheek. He slaps my hand always and mutters something I didn't get.
"Whatever lets go." He said, taking my head dragging me to his car.
"Bye Gabe, we'll come back in about a hour." I yelled out to him as Logan opens the door.
"Okay bye." He said waving his hands still doing his homework. Aww he's such a good boy.
We arrive at my house and Logan and I get out. The house seems quiet and there's no cars in the driveway. They aren't home, that's good.
We crack open the door and get in, since I remember where I hid my keys we manage to get in without well destruction.
"Don't touch anything." I warned as I head upstairs to my room. I open the room to see that it's mostly the same just as I left it.
"Gabe's room is the one next to mine. Here, just put all of his clothes in this." I said handing Logan a duffle bag. He nods and heads for Gabe's room.
I sigh and open my closet and get my bags and clothes. I stuffed most of my clothes and stuff in my suitcase which is almost full. I remember about the money and I quickly remove the drawing and gather the money.I safely tuck it in the suit case and grab my guitar case getting the picture out of it, I carefully put it on top of my other things and I shut the suit case.
"Hey did your get all of the stuff?" I hear Logan say behind me.
"Yeah. Let's get out of here." I said as I turn around holding the suitcase. Logan grabs the suitcase from me and hauls it in his car. We drive out of my neighborhood, and head towards his home.
By the time were home I notice it about 11 o'clock. I look around the living room and see that Gabe isn't there anymore. He must have gone to bed.
I take my stuff to my room and Gabe's stuff to his room. I finally notice Logan standing in the doorway to my room as I snap out of my thoughts.
"Hey if you need me my room is right across your room." He said and he stretch his arms as he yawns. I nod my head and stand up and head for the door.
"Hey thanks for everything Logan, I mean it." I said as I look at him. He stares back at me for a moment.
"No problem. If you need someone to listen I'm right here, okay?" He finally respond. He holds both of his arms like waiting for a hug. I roll my eyes but I wrap my arms around his torso and hug him back. He rubs my back and because of the height difference my face is buried in his chest as I smile.
"Good night Logan." I said as I pull back. But before he goes I reach up and hold his face in my hands and kiss his cheek. I step back quickly and close the door. I hear a faint good night and I can hear the smile in his voice as he says this.
I roll my eyes. He is such a kid.
