Shock Therapy

Shadow of The Dragon.

Narina awoke the next morning with bandages on her body.

For some reason, the serums used normally to heal wounds obtained in the Training House were ill suited to healing bruises obtained from the shadows of Cirque Le Dead. As a result, Narina, whose injuries were most severe, was allowed to stay in her dorm that day. Which disappointed her immensely.

Mainly because tomorrow, if she wasn't better, she was going to miss her second Intern Job with Nat and the others. Even though the first mission was a fiasco by far, she had come to like the Varus Division of Powers Society.

"Owww.." Narina groaned as she tried to sit up. She unbuttoned her sleep shirt and looked at herself. There were bandages wrapped around her breasts and her lower area. with smaller bandages placed on the side of her stomach

"How are you doing?" Bella entered the room, holding a tray of toast, eggs, and bacon in her hands. "You were moaning all night.."

"I-I'm fine now." said Narina.

Bella put a hand on Narina's forehead, immediately she had a flashback of Narin Jousuke's mother putting a hand on his forehead when he was four to check for a fever.

"You seem okay.." said Bella. "I think those shadows have some sort of terrible effect on your immune system. You were running a fever all night. My molecular diagnostic systems were working around the clock to try and dampen your pain.."

Narina smiled. "Bella.. what would I do without you?"

Bella giggled. "Well.. leave your room a mess for one thing..  So you've got the entire Girl's Dorm to yourself for a day! What are you going to do?"

"I don't know.." Narina muttered. "Maybe.. take a bath.."

"Or go out.. find a nice man.." Bella said.

"Bella, I appreciate you trying.. but I'm a boy who turned into a girl.. I can't date a guy because it feels too awkward, and I can't date a girl.. because I'm not going gay." said Narina.  "I don't think I'm going to ever date.."

Bella frowned. "Narina-chan.. whatever you might be now or before, but nobody deserves to be alone. And you're a girl now.. which you've got to deal with.. "

"And there's no way I'd be attracted to guys."

Bella rolled her eyes. "You never know Narina-chan. You have female hormones now.."

"Yeah yeah.." Narina muttered. "I'm going for a bath.. it'll be nice to not have anybody else in there.."

As Narina walked down the hall, she grumbled to herself. "Me.. like guys.. like that'll happen. I've been a girl for a while now, I've seen lots of guys and felt nothing! Like I would ever fall for a-WHOAAA!!"

Narina tripped, and almost hit the floor, before sudden a set of strong arms caught her. "LOOK OUT!"

Narina's vision was filled with pain as her bruises throbbed. But the pain didn't get worse. Whoever caught her was very gentle..

"H-hey! S-sorry! Are you okay!?"

Narina looked up.. and immediately, her heart jumped around in her chest like a cosmic bouncy ball.

It was an ordinary boy, who looked about her age or older. He had messy black hair, and he wore a school uniform.

And he.. was.. HANDSOME! Wait a second.. why was she worrying about that.. when..?

"BOYS AREN'T ALLOWED IN HERE!!" Narina stammered tripping back, before almost falling over again. But the boy stopped and caught her again.

"S-sorry.. I'm a member of the Student Council. So I'm allowed to go into the Girl's Dorms when looking for people." said the boy. "I'm Rezo Nanis."
