Narina opened her eyes.. she was standing on an old dank street, in an old ruined town. It was downpouring rain so hard, that she could hear it pattering against her crystal scales. The houses here were all of an old fashioned looking make, made of rotting wood.. and designed like mansions...
Lamp posts lit the dark rainy street. It was as if Narina were in a Sherlock Holmes book.
Narina looked at herself, she was still in Prism Dragon form.. so, it wasn't as if she had fallen asleep and ended up somewhere.. was it?
"Well, this is a surprise.."
Narina looked over her own shoulder, to see Violet standing there, in her Dark Demon form of course.
"Where are we? How did you do this?" Narina growled.
"I actually don't know how I did this.." said Violet with an interested and amused smile. "To be honest, even I don't know the extent of my powers. Sometimes things happen without me meaning to.. I could train for a hundred years and still not reach the total of my hidden potential.. but.. I do know where we are.."
"Where?" asked Narina.
"Where I was born.. " said Violet where I moved back to after I lived in the Roots for a short time..
"You lived in Transylvania?" Narina said.
"Well of course.. my father was the caretaker of the castle.. you know.. where the legend of Dracula began.." said Violet. "But despite this change of location.. I'm not going to let off on our fight.. YOU WILL BURN IN THE DARKNESS!!!"
Violet shot forward and slashed her scythe down at Narina... only for a bright blue shockwave to blow her back.
"WHAT!?" Violet growled.
"DON'T SNEAK UP ON ME!!" Narina roared sending an electric punch at Violet.. only to be blasted back by the same shockwave.
"We can't hurt each other.." Narina muttered.
"There's only one explanation." said Violet. "These are memories.. "
"Memories? Really? I thought that kind of stuff only happened in Harry Potter." said Narina.
"There are many things demons can do." said Violet. "And they must be my memories.. after all.. we're in Transylvania.."
"How can we be sure of that?" Narina asked.
Suddenly, a girl walked by, wearing a dark poncho as she trotted through the rain.. it was Violet.. only several years younger..
"Oh.." said Narina.
Violet smiled and began to follow her younger self. "Well.. are you coming or what? I'm curious to see which memory it is..'
And so the two of them followed the younger Violet down to the castle in the center of the town..
Young Violet was met by a shadowy creature on multiple legs.. the creature hissed at Violet.. who glared at the creature.
"Shut it Gretle.. you know me.."
Violet's eyes began to go wide. "Nevermind.. I don't want to see this.."
Violet began to move away, but Narina stayed where she was.
Violet looked back fearfully. "Narina.. let's go.."
"And I'm just going to do what you tell me?" Narina growled. "I'm curious.."
"P-please.. you don't want to see this.." Violet said, but Narina had already gone straight through the castle gates.. following the younger Violet.
