Coy Sun, teasing clouds into threads of opalescence
around her blushing form,
whilst adoring greenery awaits her tender smile
hushed from root to tip,
unresponsive to the temptress breeze
lest movement startle and so displease.
Patience, rewarded, feels the soothing touch
bring life to mere existence,
and the cool blue sky brightens as busied birds rejoice.
Flushed from tail to tip
Woodlands stretch, sway with the laughing breeze,
grasslands dance, waving welcome to the trees.
