Lila teleported herself to the large empty field, and flew a couple laps around, kinda as a test flight. Then she gracefully landed, and looked in her book for the spell she required.
"Oh, here it is." She said, and said the words aloud.
When I'm flying,
Above the ground
Let no one spot me
Until I land

Lila smiled and tucked the book into her backpack, and put her backpack on. "Alright, it's time for me to fly around and see the sights of Milwaukee." She thought to herself, and took off.

Soon, Lila was flying above all the sights, slowly but surly. She had read her book, she knew the only way to stay in the air for that long is to fly slowly, so she didn't waste all her energy. "I wish I hadn't agreed to go to the mall with Kylie. I need to be working on saving someone's life, however I intend to do that." She thought to herself. Lila kept flying through the air, through the clouds, and dodging airplanes and helicopters. The spell she had put on herself made her invisible to everyone while she was flying. When she landed on the ground, the spell would leave and people would be able to see her, unless she used a different spell.

One hundred miles later, Lila safely landed in the empty field, and, teleported herself back to her basement. "I did it!" She thought to herself. Lila could feel her wings behind her, they were stronger now. She waved her arm and recited the words she knew so well-
Fly short, Fly long
Wings take a rest for now,
Until you are again called upon,
Make me look like a human.

Lila felt her wings vanish. She smiled. That was one of the first spells she had ever learned, of course it was one of the most important ones that a fairy should know.
Lila heard a ding, and a note appeared on her desk. It was from Liam.
Lila,
The council has informed me that you passed your first test! That's great sister, I hope you can complete the second better than Lacy. I love you sis!
-Liam

Lila sighed. "Lacy would have been 18 by now." She thought to herself. Lacy was Lila's older sister, and she had been a fairy too. She had gotten up to the final test, but in the process of saving someone's life, she had gotten herself killed. Lila sighed. "I'll have to be safe, and as careful as possible." She thought.
She looked around the large study room. It had three desks, and many weird looking things. Apparently, they had been things her father collected. Lila sighed loudly again, and picked up her book. After another minute, she set it down. She slowly walked over to the desk she hadn't dared touch while her brother was around. She looked at the books that lay atop it. "The Fairy's guide to saving lives." She read the title of one. "Hey, this could actually be helpful." She said aloud, and sat down to read it.

Ooo, what do you all think of Lila's sister?
