Lila quickly moved her arms, all the while hiding them behind her. Time had stopped. Lila took a deep breath and looked around at the frozen people. As she was about to grab for her book, she realized one person wasn't frozen. Faith. Lola's eyes widened in supprise, but she didn't have time to think. Time could only be frozen for a half hour, since she didn't have all her powers. "Alright, one thing I know right away is that I cannot go in there and tackle the man. That's what Lacy tried, and everyone knows how that worked out." She thought. Then, she had an idea.

When I'm flying,
Above the ground
Let no one spot me
Until I land

She fluttered above the ground, and now not even Faith, who was now standing up, could see her. She flew, as quickly as she could, over to the nearest police man.

Let me carry
A person needed
Make me strong
And them not seen

Lila said, then picked up a police man. She flew back over to the store, and set him right in front of where she had been standing. Then, she carefully landed, and once again became visible.
"Ok, Lila, now all you need to do is tell the policeman. Tell him and let him do his job." She thought. Then, another spell she said in a hushed whisper.

Time come back,
Clocks tick again,
Harm and care
Come to those as before

Immediately, time resumed. Lila took a deep breath. "Mr. Policeman, there is a man with a gun inside that store." She said, pointing. He looked at her, then took off running. Lila took a deep breath and told herself everything would be alright.

Faith walked over to her. "Good job, Dear." She said. Lila's eyes widened in surprise. "What?" She asked. Faith giggled. "You just earned all your powers." Faith whispered, and moved her hands. Immediately, Lila felt magic in her blood, all around her body. She smiled and hugged Faith. "So you were my mentor?" She asked. Faith nodded. "Yes I was. You were able to do what your sister did not." She said. "You knew my sister?" Lila asked. Faith giggled again. "I was her mentor also." She said. Lila smiled and hugged Faith.

"Lila!" Kylie shouted. She ran over and hugged her best friend. "There... was a man with a gun." She started, then paused to catch her breath. "And I thought for sure I was going to get hurt, and Mom too, but then this police man came in. He said the man had been stealing from the mall for a couple months now, and now he is finally caught." Kylie said. Lila hugged her best friend. "Is your mom ok?" She asked. "Yes, she has to fill out a witness report." Kylie said. The three girls walked over to sit by the fountain and wait.
"Ok girls." Mrs. Martian said as she came out of the store a half hour later. "I think we should be heading home now." She said. "Yes please." Faith said. Kylie laughed. "You two are just happy you don't have to look for more clothes." She said as she stood up. Lila laughed. "True." She said. Mrs. Martian smiled. "Ok, let's hurry up and get to the car." She said, walking away. Faith and Lila looked at each other, and started giggling, and all three girls followed Mrs. Martian out to the car.
