Hello everyone, Sierra/Argenite here. I just wanted to thank everyone who has been reading this story. Whether you stayed for one chapter or has been dedicated since the very beginning of this wonderful story that I have spun, I want to thank you.
Although I cannot thank all of you personally, I do believe that you all understand that it means a lot to the creator when they see their work get publicised and met with great responses. Even as we follow along the journey of Kyle and his friends on the path to bringing the light back to the world, albeit a shattered light that once illuminated the darkness but now is part of the horrors of the night.
I do strongly believe in free speech, as well the fact that anyone can do whatever they do so that pleases them, and causes them to truly live their lives to the fullest.
Without further ado, let us return to the wonderful of Nar...I mean of this war-torn country why don't we!
"We don't know..."
"What do you mean you don't know? You should know! You've seen it before."
"Yes but, it's different now. Completely...as if someone has come to change it."
"You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"No, but maybe there is a simpler solution for this."
Sierra took off running down to the lab, while Scythe looked for Texas.
Scatter, little mice. Scram, find your hole and cower. I want to see you all suffer before your ends.
You think you're fit to save the world. You think you have a chance at redemption. You even dare to think you have any hope of living past Hallow's Eve.
You think yourself superior, that none can match your prowess.
You think you can do the impossible, when you are a mere mortal.
Being a pessimist was never my strongest suit, but I sure as hell ain't going to even try to make it easy for them.
L-0oCcvv-II initialised...
My wrath will be brought to bear. I will kill with greed. Infect their minds with envy, and poison their hearts with sloth.
Prototyping machines wasn't easy, but now it should be fully operational.
Scythe's POV
"Hell Scythe, I'm not a machine. I can't train forever you know." Sierra complained, as we walked down to the training module of our weekly schedule.
"Well, when you finally show me 300 pull-ups in 10mins, then you can stop training for two days. If not, then carry on as you were." Sierra then shot me a face and I quickly snapped at him, causing him to recoil.
Although, I kind of agree with Sierra. We have been training for almost two weeks straight, specifically one week and two days.
"Alert. Alert. Paging Squads Anarchy and Dark Force to the training floor. Alert." The comms system blared.
I nodded my head toward Sierra and rushed down the corridor. Texas quickly appeared out of the toilet, covered in water and panting hard.
Well, I immediately knew what Texas was doing in there, if Riot is stepping out also covered in water and really pissed off is of any indication of what they were doing in there.
Even if we knew where the enemy was, it won't be long until they make the first move.
It's estimated that a normal chess game has almost a trillion ways to have their first opening 16 moves.
