Sigma's POV

One day later...

I will conquer the world. It will bow to me.

I turned my head and looked at my hand. I closed my fingers and reopened them. A mechanical click was heard and my head spun in pain.

"Don't worry. The pain will fade quickly," A man's voice came from the bright light in front of me.

"I assume the operation is complete?" I said, moving out of the tube and taking a step forward.

I raised my arms and stared at the metal casing around my arms. I smiled evilly.

"This is quite possibly, the best thing you have done since getting me that pocket watch, Dr Nakiyami," The scientist stood smiling and proud.

I took my pistol and fired once at the man's head, killing him.

"And now, you won't be able to see it come to fruition. But don't worry, I will make sure your sacrifice is worth it."

I proceeded to the docking facility where Death, War, Famine and Conquest were waiting for me.

"Master Sigma. We are ready for your orders. Shall we leaving immediately?" Conquest asked as he tended to his horse.

War carried his bow, while Death held his scythe, leaving Famine with a giant sword and an equally sized shield.

The three horsemen had their unique horses already inside the cargo hold of the plane. I took Cassie's hand and moved to the side of the plane and entered.

War, Death and Famine followed suit and moved into the plane, leaving Conquest last to make his final preparations.

The time of reckoning has come.

The revelation of this world, by my own hand. I have waited too long for this moment. It cannot wait any longer.

I looked to Cass and she flashed a quick smile before diving back down to her book.

"You know, you could have just told me you were going to see Kyle. You should have, Cassie," I said, pouring out a glass of champagne. Cyrus was in the seat opposite me and I passed him a glass before pouring one for myself.

According to my records, Cass didn't drink, so I refrained from pouring one for her as well but saved Cyrus the trouble of doing so himself.

I swirled the glass and admired the carbonation in the glass.

"You know, if I had, you would have locked me in and shut him away from me, or worse," She responded, but I sighed audibly and Cyrus laughed.

"Oh, my dear Cassiopeia. You know how much you are worth to me, I can't be doing this to you. You must understand that no matter what happens, there will always be a seat for you on my throne. Relax about Kyle, would you?" I said, taking a small sip and letting out a smile.

Cass had always hated her full name being spoken from the day I took her in. Cyrus seemed unimpressed, though, setting the glass down and checked his own clothes before closing his eyes and taking a quick rest.

"Alright, but just this one time. I would advise you not to get ahead of yourself, though. I fear you may be too in over your head at this point," Cass said, turning to face me, a clear sign of distaste on her face.
