Raven yawned as she woke up the next morning, cuddled up with Stephen. She heard Abby and Connor talking in the kitchen and went to investigate. She didn't need crutches now and was allowed to go back to work with Stephen.
"Abby, don't you get it? They are obviously in a relationship because Stephen has never acted so protectively over someone. Especially when he has just met her." Connor said.
"I'm telling you, she would have told me by now. So there." Abby said smugly.
"Actually we only got the relationship going last night." Raven stated clearly wanting to finish the argument then, "Now if you don't mind, I would like some breakfast before I return to work." She continued, grabbing a card cup and filling it with black coffee then grabbing two slices of toast and taking it into the living room. There she found Stephen awake.
"Morning sleepy head." She giggled as she handed him a slice of toast. Once finished, they headed for the A.R.C with Abby and Connor. Today, Raven was wearing her dinosaur top and her Doc Martins and leggings.

"Welcome back!" Leicester said in his boring sarcastic tone, "Well, I have, yet, another meeting to go to. Ta ta." With that, he walked off to his office. Suddenly the sirens went off and the flashy lights came on. They jogged to the car with guns at hand, heading for a theme park.

As they investigated, they met a woman called Valorie. She was the deputy owner of the park. Soon they discovered that it was a smiledon (sabre toothed tiger) that had been a tracking people.

"Oh My God!!" Raven screamed as she stepped on a human hand coming from the ground. Stephen came over as did the rest of the team. The hand was slightly clawed and male. Cutter started to dig it up with his bare hands whilst Raven and Stephen set out to find who has helped the creature.

BANG!!!! Went a gun. They ran with theirs at the ready. They showed up with a man in a lion costume, holding the head with hole screaming. "He shot me!" Raven came up and snatched the gun off of Connor. He was in big trouble after this. When they returned to the hole Cutter was digging, he had found a wallet. Inside was a picture of a man holding a woman, Valorie.

"Valorie," said Cutter, "Valorie got the tiger to kill him. She has been helping it."  Before he could say anymore, she took off for Valorie's house.

When she arrived at the house, it was deserted. She walked around before hearing a low growl. She slowly turned and saw the  tiger snarling and preparing to pounce.
"Leave her alone!" Said a woman from the shadows. This gave Raven enough time to run to the balcony and jump. She landed and stumbled but kept her balance. She ran into the open fields. They had followed her. The tiger turned from her to Valorie. Before she could do anything Valorie was dead and the creature unconscious. Stephen was standing behind it with his gun. She collapsed into his arms and cried.
"I tried to help her. I was telling he rot was a big mistake. That she needed to let us take care of him. It's all my fault, I shouldn't have run." She sobbed heavily while he held her tight.

Back at the A.R.C, Raven calmed down but her eyes sore and puffy, watered from the stinging.
"Here." Murmured Stephen handing her a black coffee into her shaking hands. "Drink. You'll feel better." She leaned against him and huffed before downing her drink in three gulps.
"Raven," Stephen said quietly, "would you like to go on a date with me this Saturday?"
"Yes!" She cried as tears of happiness pricked at her eyes. At least now she had something to look forward to.
