Chapter 8

"Knock, knock, knock," someone tapped on my door. Livey got up from my bed and opened it. She squealed and hugged whoever waited at the door, obscured from my view. Curios, I got up and walked to the door, but before I could even see the person, I was attacked. I was attacked in hugs?!

"It's been years!" Joe exaggerated as he held onto me.

"It's only been like 2 months," my eyes rolled. He stuck his tongue at me and then jumped onto my bed.

"Joe, what are you doing?" Patrick questioned Joe, who now has his eyes closed and made snoring noises. Pete jumped on top of Joe. He exhaled really hard and then let out a whimper. Olivia and my laughter mixed. The laughs were loud, weird, and choppy. It sounded more like we we were fish gasping for air instead of humans laughing. Andy stared at us like we were insane, I mean we were, but he looked at us as though we lost all of our marbles.

Pete groaned as he landed on the floor. Joe pushed him off. Patrick helped Pete up and then we were all out of the door. Phil was waiting outside for us. Olivia and I crushed him in a hug.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we all got into the car.

"It's a surprise!" Pete screamed. I groaned and then we decided to blast Panic! At The Disco; by we, I mean Olivia and I.

"Zoo!" My exclamation rang thought the car, even louder than the music. I jumped up and down. Olivia had to smack some sense into me, she hit my arm, "Calm down. You're acting as though you've never been to a zoo before." My eyes castes down and my smile fades for a few moments. She gaped at me, but quickly recovered as we neared the entrance.

"Look at the monkey!" I pointed to a baby. He was attempting to mimic the adult's movements, but failed. He was too clumsy.

"AWW!" Olivia showed cried as she spotted an older monkey cradling a baby another baby one. I smiled and took lots of pictures with my phone.

We exited through the gate, "How was your first visit to the zoo, Kor?" Andy asked.

I squeezed the Monkey and elephant stuffed animals the guys got me, "It was amazing! Thank you guys so, so much!"

We have a show tomorrow, so we are going to pick you and Livey up at five," Pete informed us as we got into the building. We nodded, I was already almost asleep from the long day at the zoo. The walked us to our rooms and gave us hugs, then they left. Thank goodness my 'wonderful' roommate wasn't there, because I was able to drift to sleep with no troubles.
