A grief stricken Sanyukta was pushed by a furious Randhir against the cold metallic locker box. Sanyukta was too numb to react at his attack and Randhir almost pierced her arms with his hard hold. His eyes radiated fiery anger and at that moment, he was mad enough not to take any of her pain seriously. His haphazard search for her all over the school campus and her sudden disappearance in thin air had left him red in anger and with a strange pain of fear hammering over his heart.
"What do you even think of yourself?" He seethed pushing her more against the cold frame, his teeth clashed together in utter rage as his eyes spitted venom.
"Tell mee... What were you doing here?" Randhir roared shaking her crazily, while she slowly registered the incidents that happened moments ago with her and that presently, she was being thrashed on by Randhir, for a crime she didn't even know, she had committed! She blinked her eyes several times and just after staring at his rageful eyes, she felt the actual pain in both of her arms, which he had clutched with all his strength. At that point, she had totally lost her judgement power. All she could visualize was the nasty situation, she had to go through minutes ago. Her heart almost leaped off her rib cage as she thought of the consequences she had to live on if that jerk was successful in his filthy trick. All she needed that time was to get engulfed into a warm and peaceful embrace of someone whom she could call her own and forget her miseries. She couldn't interpret why was she being challenged emotionally, mentally and now physically all the time out of the many happy people! Didn't she deserve the little happinesses that she was getting these days being with him, when the people whom she was supposed to call her own, did nothing but prick her down there in her heart all the time? Staring blankly towards Randhir, her heart skipped a beat in fear as she saw him looking furiously towards her. Only if stares could kill! Involuntarily, her hands seized off from his strong hold and she found herself clinging onto him the next second. She had hugged him with all her might, dipping her face deeper into his chest as her hazel eyes couldn't hold back her agony and it started to flow! Like an incessant downpour after a scorching drought. Her strong heart gave up that second. She wanted support! She required homely warmth! She wished for a shoulder to cry on at the end of the day, when she'll feel alone! She wanted to be accompanied in her own solitary world. She desired a hand to hold onto and all of a sudden, her heart realised that all she needed was to be loved! To nourish, to nurture! To feel being loved and to reciprocate the love she had bottled up within her.
Her arms wrapped around his torso as he was taken aback by the sudden act of hers. He could hear her soft sobs against his chest and she held onto him more tightly. He could feel their bodies pasted against each other and all he did was, to wonder what was wrong with this girl. He had been frantically searching for her since the past one hour after her unnatural disappearance from the pool side within seconds. Hell he had almost freaked out when he couldn't spot her anywhere inside the huge campus. His heart had been performing somersaults in fear for her well being, which was well, not really under his control. With unexpected thoughts, his mind forgot to think when he spotted her inside the abandoned old girl's locker room, sitting all calm and steady as rock in a lone corner. Anger rushed through his veins as he dashed towards her and pulled her up harshly from her position. Her composed face triggered his rage more and he ended up pinning her to the rusty locker box.
She nuzzled more closer to him pushing her petite frame over his hard one and in reflex, Randhir caught hold of her back, clutching her against his chest and letting her soak his tee shirt with her overflowing tears. Randhir was puzzled beyond wits at her behavior but at that point, he felt like she wanted to be in his arms, in a warm place to help herself calm down. He intuited that she must have undergone some severe issue which had compelled this strong girl to break her dam of bottled up emotions. He thought to let her flow it out. All he wanted was her well being as he had grown up to like that witty smile pasted on her face rather than the shrivelled face of hers. He wanted her to calm down first and then share her part of the story only if she was comfortable enough with him.
He lifted her off her feet as he hugged her even more tightly, grabbed her waist and made her sit on the table nearby such that she was clinging onto him, sitting on the table while he was standing in between her legs. The innocent soul wasn't in the mood to let go the warmth that his body radiated. She found it so peaceful, so serene that in a deep corner of her heart, she had started to believe that she might won't have anyone beside her during her tough times but this friend-enemy of hers would always be there, for her, beside her and with her!
Randhir could do nothing but just obey this stubborn baby of his. 'Of His' made his heart flutter. He did nothing but just stood in the same position, in between her legs, clutching her waist while her hands now resided around his neck and her face in the summit of his neck, with her uneven breaths tickled his there, doing things to him.
"Shhh... Sanyukta.. Baby it's alright now.. Shh.. Stop crying baby... You're okay..." He kept on chanting and at a point, her sobs turned into muffles and she eventually silenced down. Jerking off from her reverie, she realised their position and thus detached her frame from his as quick as possible.
Her teary eyes stared up at him and a fresh tear escaped out staring at his loving gaze over her. He just couldn't get what had gotten into her but his heart too pained looking at her so weary.
"I was tricked Randhir..." She managed to utter in her cracked voice and Randhir's eyes contracted a bit. She kept mum for a second as suddenly she felt him cupping her face and making her look directly into his eyes. She could see something strange in his eyes. A blend of anger and care his eyes radiated! For HER!
"Who did that? Tell me..." He voiced out keeping their faces inches apart such that he could feel her haphazard breaths against his chin.
"Tell me Sanyukta... Don't be afraid.. M here for you..." He uttered while touching his forehead with hers and she closed her eyes clutching his tee from the front. Another tear rolled down her eye as his warm finger brushed that off in it's trail.
"Randhir...rr.. I... Am..such...I was tricked badly... He..e.. Just tried to.. Break...my..legs..." And Randhir felt his jaws clench in sheer madness at her words.
"Who was that Sanyukta...? Tell me...! I'll break his bones now.." His voice rose and she shivered against him.
She opened her eyes to capture his fiery eyes into a long and passionate eyelock.
"Won't you hear the whole...?" She spoke softly.
"I trust you completely...." He uttered between her words and she wondered whether he was the person she had known to be selfish and egoistic brat and her biggest enemy few months ago.
