~Author's POV~
Shocked might have been an understatement for the naive Sanvi's state when her mouth was suddenly being violated by an unknown guy. Her life couldn't have possibly gotten any more unpredictable.
Waking up to the phone call of a drunk friend, rushing out in the midnight to rescue her, breaking into a stranger's party uninvited and then running into a couple having sex and for the cherry on top: being forcefully kissed by a guy in a dark room. She hadn't ever imagined herself experiencing even a zilch of such a disastrous night in her 18 years old life.
Sanvi wasn't a girl with a wild adventurous spirit. Neither did she have a crazy bucket-list to pursue in her adult life like other normal teenagers. She steered clear from all the temptations of a cheerful adolescent life partly because she couldn't afford to indulge in any owing to her miserable situation. All she aspired to do was to be successful enough in the future to lead a calm, trouble-free life without any drama, preferably away from any human contact, in a secluded cabin in the woods.
She already had seen enough drama since childhood. She had managed to stay away from drama her whole entire school life and she intended to keep it that way until graduation. She have had no boyfriends in her life, partly due to her stoic personality and mostly because she couldn't dream of having a social life with a rugged background as she had then.
She had always been called a nerd who was despised by everyone for being disciplined and regular in studies. Many a times she had to endure taunts and sneers from her classmates but she didn't care if they tagged her as 'the teacher's pet' or 'the boring bookworm'. If prioritizing her dream of a better future ushered in those 'insults', she could happily live without heeding them. They knew nothing of her situation and she was already out of the social radar. Nothing could harm her if she just minded her own business. It was already too late for her to make any friendly connection that required maintenance.
While she did believe that remaining isolated was just fine with her, at times, in a lonely corner of her heart, she felt that it would have been nice to have someone mature and understanding to share her thoughts with,— a person she'd be comfortable being intimate with, mentally and then later physically if she grew to trust the person.
She had absolutely no intention of visiting any high school parties for the next few months till graduation. Yet right at that moment, she not only did visit one but was being ferociously kissed in a lonely corner of some big strange mansion by a guy.
She was pushed up against the cold wall by the strong body. The room was entirely pitch dark, with not even a sliver of light visible to the eye. She could hardly decipher the face of her attacker in the darkness. Her stunned mind was pushed over to the point of wondering if she had crossed to another dimension in space altogether.
Who was kissing her?
She did see him, didn't she?
Was that him?
Could she trust her vision?
But his voice felt similar too!
No! No! It wasn't him.
Rather, it SHOULDN'T be him in any damn way.
Damn it! What have I gotten myself into? She cried in mind, trying to push the person away, but he had a dead strong grip on her.
His hands slid down the length of her bare arms (which she did try to swat away but ended up slamming her pinky finger against a table corner). As his hands travelled down, she felt him clutching her high up by the hips. She whimpered at the touch and attempted to wiggle out of his hold.
