A Miraculous Tale

Chapter 2

When I woke up to my alarm clock, I got up and took a shower, blow dried and curled my hair and put it into a pair of pigtails, got dressed into a pink T-shirt saying Animacon 2015 and blue skinny jeans. I grabbed Luca and put him in my bag. I walked down stairs and heard Mom humming to her own little tune, her pale brown hair swaying from side to side.

"Morning Mom!" I said stretching

"Morning, and how is my little cupcake?" She asked turning around a plate of eggs and bacon in hand.

"I'm awesome!" I answered sitting at the table

"That's good to hear!" She said chuckling handing me a plate, "remember I'm driving you to school today."

"Yup!" I said shoveling my food in my mouth

"Slow down or you're gonna choke!" Mom exclaimed

It was too late I could not breath, I started to grabbed my neck, and eventually coughed up my food. I looked up at Mom, "Well I see what you mean."

"That's why you slowly eat your food." Mom said standing up grabbing her car keys, "well then let's go, I have a job interview in 10."

"Okay." I said grabbing my bag and stuffing food into it, just to keep Luca busy because I have no idea what he eats.

As I climbed in the car I saw Luca peek out of my bag, "Hey! Have you got any more of that stuff?"

"No but I will give you more when we get home." I said quickly closing my bag when I saw Mom looking at me.

"So are you ready?" She asked looking back to the road

"Yeah!" I said grabbing my stuff, while she pulled up to the steps.

"Bye, love you sweetie!" Mom said waving

"Bye Mom!" I exclaimed looking back, until I bumped into someone

"Whoa, watch where your going or you'll get hurt!" Said the voice that sounded kind and sweet

I looked up and saw Nathanael smiling at me I blushed, "H-hi!" I stammered turning around to see if Mom was still there she wasn't I sighed, that's one less thing to worry about, I thought.

"Hey you okay?" Nathanael asked me following after my gaze

"Huh? Y-yeah I'm fine!" I said turning back around looking into his sea green eyes.

"Okay..." He said looking at where I was barely looking then back to me.

The bell rang, "Well off to 1st hour huh?" I said

"Yeah, I guess so." Nathanael agreed looking at the sky, "Well let's go."

"Okay!" I exclaimed walking after him, when all of a sudden I heard a voice say, "Oopsie!" And I fell down

I looked up and saw Chloe and two other girls laughing, "Look it seems that Newbie fell down!" said one girl with bright brown hair with thick blonde highlights and wore a purple bow on top of her head

"Nice one, Violet!" said a red head with a white head band and glasses high fiving the other girl.

I stood up and grabbed the items that I dropped in the fall, and ran inside tears streaming down my face.

"Taiko, wait!" I heard Nathanael called but I acted like I didn't hear him and just kept walking, "Taiko!" He called again his voice a little louder then before. I felt a grip on my wrist I turned around and saw him looking at me, eyes filled with worry, "Taiko, don't listen to them."

"How can I not?" I asked, "They've done this before! I just--" I paused allowing the tears to fall, "I just can't take it anymore!" I shouted

I felt a hand turn me around and start to push me down the hallway, "What are you doing?" I asked
