Chapter 9

~~~Nathanael's P.O.V.~~~

Its Monday morning and you wanna know something?...

"I HATE MONDAYS!" I shouted

"Yeah I feel ya..." Flame yawned, "but what's so wrong with it?..."

I looked at him, "What's so wrong with it is that Mondays is when Juleka and Rose come over so then we can walk to school together," I take a deep breath, "And its the beginning of the week which means I have to start waking up early again!"

"Yeah but don't you already do that?" Flame floated onto my shoulder with a strawberry in his small paws

I flicked him off, "Shut up, Pyro!"

Flame just glared at me, "Hey! For the record my name is Flame! And don't you have to get ready for school?"

I sighed, "Yeah I guess you're right," I stood up and got my clothes on and grabbed my notebooks and pencils, putting them in my bag. I ate breakfast and sat on the couch until I heard a knock on the door.

I got up to answer it, and low and behold there was Juleka and Rose. (I'm not trying to be mean or anything but Juleka has a big role in the story and it's not a good one!) Rose waved excitedly, again I have no clue why. Juleka smiled and waved I just arched my brow.

"Hey Nath!" Rose said

"Hey..." I replied bored

"Let's go!" Juleka said as I closed the door

We walked part way when Juleka asked, "Hey why couldn't you hang out on Saturday?..."

I looked straight ahead, "I was busy..."

Rose looked at me, "You didn't seem busy..."

"Well I was, okay?" I said walking a little faster

Flame peeked out of my bag, "Now I see why you hate Mondays..."

I looked at him, "You do now?!"

Flame nods, "They pry you with questions trying to get you to say the answer they want you to say. I'm gonna be honest with you, I hate people like that"

I laughed a little, "Yeah I hate people like that too..."

Before I knew it I had gotten to the stairs. I walked up them hoping to see Taiko, but I didn't, Where is she? I thought

***Taiko's P.O.V.*** (this is happening during when Nathanael woke up)

I sat up quickly to Luca looking over me.

He just laughed, "Finally the sleeping beauty has woken,"

I looked at him and pushed him causing his chocolate to fly in the air, "Shut up Kitty"

"Hey I'm not a cat! I'm a lynx I'll have you know!" He said folding his arms and turning away from me
