A Miraculous Tale

Chapter 4

(Hey guys! I'd like to thank the song Lullaby For a Princess by PonyPhonic because it helped me learn to write this chapter now rather than later on within the story. Also I'm sorry if this is late but I've been busy, but this chapter is good I promise! I also forgot to mention that Miraculous Ladybug does NOT belong to me only my characters! So Enjoy!)

As I walked down the hallway of the school I saw Violet and Sabrina talking with Chloe.

I neared them and hid to hear their conversation, "Okay Sabrina and Violet you guys do the assignment." Chloe ordered

"Why won't you help us?" Violet asked

"Because I have something...important to do." Chloe replied folding her arms and turning her back to them

"Well okay...We'll do the work and then let you present" Sabrina said nodding her head

"Good idea Sabrina!" Chloe said clapping her hands together, "That way it's even...right?"

"Yup!" Sabrina replied

"Good! Now go get it done!" Chloe said pointing to the history lab

I turned away from where I was hiding, I cannot believe she would do something as cruel as that, I thought walking away.

I saw Marinette and Alya sitting on a bench talking to each other. I walked up to them, "Hey guys hows it going?"

"Oh hi Taiko!" Marinette waved patting a space next to her

"We're trying to figure out who ladybug is!" Alya said holding up her phone showing a ladybug page.

"What's that?" I asked pointing at her phone, "The page I mean not the phone."

Marinette looked at me shaking her head and showing a cutting motion near her neck indicating that I shouldn't have asked.

Alya stood up, "Well it's my Ladyblog, holding all of the clues that could tell us who is ladybug, but a new hero has stepped into the Ladybug and Chat Noir duo."

"R-really? Who?" I stammered

"We don't know she never gave them her name." Marinette said crossing her arms as if she was thinking deep thoughts

"O-oh..." I said, shoot! I knew I was forgetting something!, I thought

I heard a ping from my phone I looked to see what it was. It was the blog emailed to me, "Uh why did you email this to me?"

"Oh so you keep tabs on the Ladyblog!" Alya said walking to first hour

Marinette started to walk up to Alya, "Let's go! I heard we got a new student today!"

I sighed, "Okay I'm coming!"

When we got to class I saw Nino, Adrien, and Nathanael having a conversation of their own. I grew more nervous as we walked closer to them.

Adrien turned around, "Oh hey guys!"

"Hey Adrien!" I said waving. I looked up at Nathanael. My face began to feel warm, and I was internally screaming. Subconsciously I put my hand on my chest feeling like I was going to die right on the spot.

"Hey Taiko you okay?" Alya asked

"Huh?" I asked snapping out of my daze, darting my eyes around like an idiot, "Uh...Yeah just spaced out for a second"
