A Miraculous Tale

Chapter 7

***Taiko's P.O.V.***

Today is the Spring Flair! I can't wait! I'm sitting in the backseat of Mom's car riding to Marinette's house she said she had all of our dresses made. I can't wait to see what they look like.

We pulled up and I climbed out, "Bye Mom!"

"Bye sweetie! Have fun!" She said driving off

I walked up to the door. Luca popped out wearing the tux I made him. His little ear tuffs brushed and gelled back.

"Ugh! How long is this dance again?" He asked

"It depends" was my only reply

"What do you mean 'It depends'?" He asked

"Means depends on how long I want to stay." I said ringing the bell

Luca squirmed, "How long will that be? I wanna be out of this now!"

"Probably 11:00-ish" I stood waiting for the door to be answered

Then the door flew open showing an already dressed Marinette and Alya. Marinette had a red knee-high dress with polka dots with a tool fabric wrapping around it and under it causing it to be poofy. She had red heels and her hair was up in her casual pigtails.

Alya had a black and white zebra pattern it went down to her ankles and it cut through the middle showing her calves. Her hair was down and her glasses had been cleaned to perfection. She had black flats.

They pulled me inside, and handed me the dress made for me. They pushed me into the bathroom and shouted in unison, "Change! Or we're gonna leave without you!" Then they giggled on the other side of the door.

I sighed tossing on the dress and walked out, it was a bright pastel sea green color that transitioned to a sea blue at the bottom. It went all the way down to my feet, it had spaghetti straps. It had a matching pair of heels.

"Oooo! I like the colors! They match your eyes!" Alya exclaimed

"And they will match Nathanael's too!" Marinette added

I blushed the mention of Nathanael was a little too much excitement for me.

"Come on! Let's get your hair and make up done!" Alya cheered

Marinette was putting the finishing touches on my make up, "and...Done!" She pulled up a mirror to show me. My hair was down and curled and my make up was dark blue eye-shadow and my lipstick was a dark shade of red.

As if right on cue we heard a knock on the door. We ran downstairs to see who it was. The boys stood in the door way.

Nathanael was wearing a black tux with a red bowtie, and his hair is how it normally is. Adrien was also wearing a black tux except with a green bowtie, and his hair was brushed back. Nino was wearing a blue tux with a black bowtie, he still had his baseball cap and headphones.

"Hey boys!" Alya said

"Hey Alya! Dang you look..." Nino paused thinking of a word, "stunning"

"Really? Thank you!" Alya laughed

"Mari! Y-you l-look b-beautiful." Adrien stuttered

"T-thank y-you." Marinette stuttered a reply

"Taiko your beautiful." Nathanael said

"Well thanks to Marinettes epic designing skills." I said hugging him

My face started to feel warm so I pulled away, and I looked down my hair hiding my blushed face.
