Chapter 35: broken, hurt and shattered

Nandini's pov:

(Next day)

Don't allow yourself to wake up with yesterday's issues troubling your mind... but I couldn't do that. Because yesterday's issue is something that I won't ever forget.. it will always remind me how worthless I am..!

I never thought i will wake up like this.. I always thought I will wake up smiling and live a day like a princess. but no, That was just dream for me .. Now waking up is the most scaring thing in my life now.

Because i have to face the reality. I have to face the monster; his torturing. That shuddered me..! But one thing is good about this morning is, he is not with me.. I'm alone here and that's good. I slowly get up from the bed and went to washroom to do my usual.....

After finishing my usual.. I want to have a cold bath.. so I pulled a simple white dress (salwar kameez) from the huge wardrobe..!.

I noticed the time it's 8 am now. wow I slept so long .. good. that monster didn't disturb me..!

I went downstairs to find some food.. I'm so hungry..

I need to eat before he come around .....!

I found some bread and milk in the fridge. When I was going to eat... Ayesha came and asked me if I need something.. so I shoed her milk and the bread...

Then what he said it surprised me..

"You need more than this.. you need to feed properly if you are with Manik sir.." she said normally but I noticed the hint in her voice... what she is trying to say..!.. I lowered my head.. even they also knew.... How worthless I am.. to everyone..

"Oh please don't be sad..... i didn't mean it like that.. ! I know why you are here but I didn't mean that.. I said because.. I know you are good for manik sir. If you are with him. He will survive...." With that she gave me paratha and some vegetable dishes which I don't know..

But it looks yummy so I started to eat..

The woman laughed at me... I looked at her..

"I like to see your eating.. you have nice appetite.." I saw the warm nice smile.. which is welcoming... and I couldn't stop myself.. I slow tears escape from my eyes.. because how much I miss the compassion from my close people...I'm so broken, hurt and shattered.. that I don't know what to do.. I can only cry now.. but that monster didn't let me cry too. I miss u grand ma. I miss my brother and friends also.

"Ssshh... don't cry.. everything will be alright.." she came and hug me from behind... she rubbed my head with love..! but I couldn't stop..

"Don't cry my dear, you are the light and you dragged into darkness I know but believe me you are the only one who can light up his darkest world...! I know I'm talking like a selfish person but I' m saying the truth... now eat.... You need to eat before......" she didn't finish her line and I understood what she meant so I wiped my tears and give her a warm smile then began to eat again...!
